I really think many people are not taking into account that the FL is playing an older person who is close to 40. She may be a bit naive but with age does not necessary come wisdom. She was taken in by a relative that isn't unusual especially because she has wanted to see him all these years and he was a real crafty con artist.
Both leads are doing a credible job of playing older people finding each other again.
Sometimes one gets tired of dramas focusing on the young and cute so I am really enjoying this take on their life.
I also enjoy watching the other characters and seeing the 2 mums beginning to interact with each other more and working together albeit for a nasty plan of breaking their kids up.
Up until ep8, it can be said this drama is written like it is a fanfic, the title is Three Bold Siblings, but…
I think since it is a 50 episode drama they will focus on the others too. They are setting up the story right now, later on the drama has a lot of time to focus on the other characters.
I am enjoying it mainly because I like seeing a female lead who isn't afraid of saying what is on her mind. I am glad she stood up to her mother who has been taking advantage of her all these years.
I love the male lead because he is such a sweet character who loves her a lot. I hope there are not so many bad times ahead but by the same token since this is a long drama I predict a lot of struggle.
The older couple is fantastic. I just adored the 42 year old lawyer and 40 year old dentist's relationship. Very modern and realistic. Oh Min Suk as always a joy to watch.
Maybe you should give it another word because this is not the definition of "incest" .. check the dictionary
This is normal trigger poster behaviour. They purposely insinuate that we are perverts and expect us to sanguinely accept that libel and seem offended that they are misunderstood. Ignorance based posting. Will never learn best to ignore in future. Advice I should also take.
Where did you conjure incest from? They're not related by blood at all. Perhaps you should actually watch a show…
That isn't what incest is and you should not criticize the comments when your interpretation is wrong. As far as incest goes blood is what matters. Let's hope they do not register the daughter and someone actually wakes up and stops this mad selfish behaviour.
I had to stop watching. They really annoyed me with the unnecessary instances of staring at each other every episode. I enjoyed the story but the director should have cut back on that, it got to a point that it was ridiculous. Sorry to say I decided to drop it.
Does anyone have any other good daily to recommend that is well done like this one with no makjang and over acting. This drama has been very good so far.
UPDATE AT EPISODE 12:-I wonder if I'm the only one who's not really enamoured with this show the way everyone…
1)Someone asked her that question and perhaps you didn't hear or it happened after you dropped the drama but she clearly said the brother and her fight when he tried to teach her. Not every smart student makes a good teacher in fact some people just cannot teach their family and they just end up yelling at each other .
2)As others explained he doesn't live there and he wants to avoid his father.
3)Very early on it is explained that she is the director. I think you didn't pay much attention to the dialogue.
I don't understand between him agreeing to tutor her and then next episode on their trip to Beijing he asks her to go with him to UK. When did they become a couple or did I miss something between the episodes or they cut the actual development.
This drama requires a certain mindset to appreciate and enjoy. Most people will find it boring in the beginning. I however found the interactions very interesting. I think it is the subtle cruelties and not the huge incidents that really seem more real. The series is very 'lifelike' , it seems to depict a story without huge exaggerations that you normally see in some dramas. People complain about how slow it is but if you actually follow the story and read the dialogue (I cannot understand Mandarin) the story is really very good.
This drama isn't about huge changes or grand scale tension. The story moves along and can be quite riveting if only you grew to actually love the setting, characters and are truly invested in them and that is why this drama is so good.
You see the simple weakness in people and how easy it is to manipulate and bend others and it is this moving tapestry that makes me like it a lot. It helps too that the drama looks gorgeous and the acting was top notch.

The story is really bad now. I cannot imagine how selfish the grandfather is destroying the lives of the younger folk.
