I think second male lead (SML) kang tae ju (joo) is really great.
I’ve seen him in the film ”Childe” and in the second season of the series ”Pachinko”; his acting is excellent.
I hope his Korean fans can pass on a message to him: please take on more acting roles! He has appeared in very few projects—it would be wonderful to see him in more, even if just in supporting roles. He really should do more acting!
Kang tae joo , 2ml, The actor playing the second male lead delivers a superb performance. In the film "the Childe", he portrays the character—a boxer named Marco—a role for which he received an award. Beyond his immense talent, his english-language lines are delivered quite well.
Furthermore, he appeared in the second season of the series "pachinko",where he demonstrated a good grasp of the Japanese language. In the series, he plays the eldest son of the female lead (named Noah)—a character who meets a tragic end, he did good job ,and he just look like the son of ml and fl in pachinki
Without a doubt, he is an actor dedicated to continuously honing his craft ,acting skill,
In my opinion, the second male lead KTJ in "Love in Disguise" isn't really that significant. That said, I do hope KTJ gets more acting opportunities—not necessarily as a lead, but in a wider variety of roles—so he can further sharpen his acting skill,

Rookie actor Kang Tae-ju played the role of Marco in the 2023 action-thriller film The Childe.
Acting Skill & Performance • Audition Victory: Kang Tae-ju beat out 1,980 other applicants through a fierce 1:1,980 audition ratio to land the breakthrough role. • Physical Dedication: He underwent intense physical training to portray Marco, an underground Filipino-Korean boxer hunted across South Korea. • Critical Reception: Reviewers praised his rookie performance as strong and layered, holding his own alongside veteran co-stars like Kim Seon-ho
While many fans naturally wish for their favorite actors to land lead roles, they might not realize that some actors prioritize the craft of acting itself—they don’t necessarily need to be the lead in every single project. from what have observed, Kim Jong Hyun genuinely enjoys taking on supporting roles that he finds interesting. Have watched Kim Jong Hyun in the K-drama "Time" ,and his performance was outstanding. He played the lead—and while he might not fit the conventional mold of a "handsome guy," his acting makes him incredibly charismatic. He’s just that good! Highly recommended. It would be wonderful if people could approach "Time" with an objective perspective, setting aside the external criticisms that surrounded it.
my own opinion,Is it possible that Kim Jung Hyun simply doesn’t care whether he’s playing the lead ( ml )…
,@mariaaa13, well said! It’s great to see mature fans like you supporting both Jae Wook and Jong Hyun. While many fans naturally wish for their favorite actors to land lead roles, they might not realize that some actors prioritize the craft of acting itself—they don’t necessarily need to be the lead in every single project. I can’t speak for Jae Wook, but from what have observed, Kim Jong Hyun genuinely enjoys taking on supporting roles that he finds interesting. my own opinion, Is it possible that Kim Jung Hyun simply doesn’t care whether he’s playing the lead ( ml ) or the second lead ( sml)? It makes no difference to him ; all he cares about is whether the role itself is any good.
In drama "Siren’s Kiss" , KJH plays the second male lead, so might be taking on a supporting role is not an issue for him. in this drama love in disguise ˉ, kjh could be key person to solved the mystery. In this series, KJH plays a lawyer—a character who is sharp-witted yet occasionally feigns ignorance, all while possessing a sense of humor. feel this role might offers room for the actor to shine; when someone delivers a solid performance, they can truly stand out—even in a supporting role.
The female lead really stands out, the second male lead (lawyer) is the type who relies on solid acting skills. the plot is actually pretty good—and it’s clear that money was poured into the production. iIt’s worth a watch.
generally not a fan of effeminate ,sissy male leads, As for the male lead… well, whatever. Let it slide. It doesn’t really matter, anyway.
