Yeah no

I was excited when i saw the whole yakuza storyline but it was so bland. The leads were all like “i never want to fall in love with anyone else but you” but like it’s been 3 days that they’ve been together + she broke up with her ex like a week ago?? I was so bored and i was glad that it only had 8 episodes. The yakuza part was not it bc the lead is so weak. He’s supposed to be the young boss or wtv idk if the subtitles fooled me but like (SPOILER) what kind of yakuza member gets blackmailed by a mere employee. I would’ve expected her getting punished heavily but she only got exposed for her weird affair with older men. That was NOT giving yakuza member.

The leads were good looking but the love story was very quick and incomprehensible. They were also very quiet, i have a tick were i always press the “skip forward 10 secs” button and i pressed like 5 times and no sound were coming out of their mouths. Atp those scene were only for cinematography.

They couldn’t really showcase their acting bc nothing was happening like im actually pissed💔

An amazing experience

This is truly up to standard of an S drama. Everything is perfect with a slow pace that I love. The story is deep and real, it made me cry because their love is just so pure. It was the first drama I watched without waiting for all the episodes to drop before watching it completely.

The acting was incredible. Zhang Ruonan embodied the character of Wen Yifan perfectly. I could see the struggles of her character in every detail she made. Bai Jingting has a face where I can feel his emotions through the screen and can't look away. Their happy moments just made me smile instantly. It also has some humoristic tones that I love. It's not too much and they deliver it amazingly.

The music is so good. It's the type of music you learn all the lyrics unconsciously because you heard it so much and it was so catchy. I LOVE music where there is some sort of humming, so for example "There is you amidst raindrops" is my fav track. It had two singers singing at the same time and I literally stop every time I heard this music in the show to just listen to the full version on YouTube.

Finally, I would love love to rewatch it again but I feel like I wouldn't have the same emotions as I did for the first time watching it. It is still a deep, fluffy and mature drama with a love so beautiful you already know it's hard to find something like this in real life. I remember when it was first airing, I would stay up late until the last second to watch it as soon as it released even tough I had school the next day (it released at 12am).

Speachless

This is such a masterpiece. The concept and storyline of this movie is so good and complete. The amount of tears I let out while watching this is unbelievable. I saw many edits of that viral scene where he asks her name and decided to watch it. The cinematography of this was amazing. I wish we would get more dramas with this vibe.

It is a deep drama so TW so scenes may be sensible. The love and trust they had was beautiful to see. They would sacrifice anything for each other. They met under unexpected circumstances and they didn't stop seeing each other after that. They say romance is dead but they haven't seen this movie yet.

The acting was immaculate. Im baffled by their talent, both of them made me feel like I was in the story. I could feel their sadness and frustrations. Im replaying their scenes in my head and I legit want to cry like they left such a good impression.

The music is just basic I mean I didn't care for it that much.

I would love to lose my memories just to watch this again with the same emotions as I did for the first time watching.

Can you imagine?

Wow this story was so good. It had good comprehension and wonderful elements. I loved every romance of each couple because their storyline were all different (aprox). I really love fantasy/magical dramas because you can really get creative with anything. Any rule and any incomprehension can make sense because it is a fictional world. When we dived into the letters part it was so clever yet so simple. Such a good and short drama.

Moving on, the acting of Wang Yinglu was extremely surprising. I didn't know she could act that good and im so glad she takes on very different roles in her dramas. Zhou Yiran is young and so talented. His facial expressions are my fav bc he is not only hot he is just so so talented.

I didn't pay attention to the music so don't ask me anything lmao. Maybe it didn't impact me a lot.

A good watch, would rewatch it again just for the fun of it because it's a short drama. I normally hate rewatching dramas bc I don't feel the same shock and emotion as the first time.
