On His Man Season 4 Feb 7, 2026
His Man fans have a real problem with parasocialism. These guys aren’t idols or actors, what exactly are you stanning? You get so attached to these people and start taking everything at face value. Now apparently Hyeok Jin is a “bully” and Hyun Jun is an “attention seeker” lol give me a break.

Not saying you can’t feel bad for Yun Jae, but can we have conversations that are a little more nuanced besides “my cutie baby boy is being attacked by these terrible people!”

I don’t understand why everytime someone has an opinion on here that isn’t necessarily positive or in complete…
Criticizing the show for its many flaws isn’t what I’m talking about; that’s literally what I did in my own posts.

What I’m talking about is the people incessantly talking about how boring the show is or how there’s absolutely nothing good about it. Those are the people who would be better off dropping it because clearly nothing will change how they feel.

Crying in the comments about how much you dislike this show and how you can’t wait for it to be over isn’t a productive comment and adds nothing to the conversation, talking about how this show could’ve been way better with proper distribution, better plot devices, better screenwriting and better acting is and can actually be analyzed and dissected among other watchers.

But because I’m being rational and simply not just camping in the comments with irrelevant hate every time an episode comes out, I assume I’ll be ratioed and called a blind follower lol.

Hopefully by episode 11 most of the commenters here will drop the show or at least stop talking about how much…
I think a solution would be to give the show more episodes altogether but anything longer than 12-16 episodes isn’t common in Thai BL unfortunately. It’s impossible to give 4 couples a fully developed storyline in such a short time while also fully developing the non-romantic plots so I assume producers only picked out what they consider the important parts and left out the little details/moments that truly round a relationship.

I’ve noticed with a lot of BLs that their main issue is usually too many episodes for a simple story which causes the show to drag or too little episodes for complex stories like this one that everything seems rushed or out of place. I read the novel and it could easily be a 30 episode series with how much is included.

Hopefully by episode 11 most of the commenters here will drop the show or at least stop talking about how much they supposedly dislike something they keep tuning into every week.

The shows main issue is too many ships/characters which lead to fandom wars over screen time. It’s like Kinnporsche all over again when VegasPete fans were mad that Kinnporsche were getting the most screen time in a show called… Kinnporsche. If you’re only watching for a specific couple, a side one at that, you’re much better off watching their scenes on YouTube than boring yourself with hour-long episodes of content you don’t care for.

Someone please help me understand the hype regarding RamilPaytai 😩 I’m trying so hard to be interested in their story but it seems so one dimensional. Something happens, Paytai acts skittish and starts the whole “I’m yours” shtick, they have sex, and then that’s it. I would probably be more interested if they showed more of the dynamic with Ramil’s father and his abuse rather than the constant reminder of “hey, look at these guys doing BDSM!”

But then again, this is a BL at the end of the day so there needs to be fanservice somehow I guess. I think the sex scene where Ramil actually pauses because he realizes he was about to whip Paytai the same way his father did was good, but everything else has been very meh for me.

None of the couples are that interesting to me but I’ve seen people go as far as to claim that RamilPaytai are stealing the show and I just… can’t see that for some reason. I’m hooked on JimmyOhm, but I can’t find that same pull towards their actual characters.

I usually turn away from shows if they’re clearly low budget and have questionable scenes but I’ve been obsessed with this series. Maybe the chemistry? Idk but they’re doing something right 🤣
On His Man Season 3 Jul 11, 2024
The constant comparison between season 2 and 3 are so annoying… we get it, you’re still obsessed with Junseong and Seongho. Go watch their content instead of flooding the comments with pointless negativity that has no actual criticism or substance.
On His Man Season 3 Jul 7, 2024
His Man is such a good show but the viewers are unbearable.

A lot of fans of this show treat the contestants, who are real life people with lives after this, as idols that they can ship and hate on to their liking.

There's nothing wrong with having a pairing or contestant you're rooting for but when that "stan" relationship you have with it causes you to start bashing on other contestants for simply just following the purpose of the show which is to interact with MULTIPLE people to potentially find love then you need to reflect.

Sorry your "ship" from day 1 when the contestants didn't even know each other for a whole 24 hours didn't work out but that's how reality goes when it comes to dating and you're just gonna have to get over it.

Some of you guys expect these people to be perfect and make the right decision every time and it's not gonna happen because once again, these are real people.

Also, this is a REALITY TV dating show. There will be drama. If you just wanted to watch gay men go on vacation and sing Kumbaya then I don't think dating shows in general are for you. Yes, Junseong and Seongho were cute but just because they worked out perfectly doesn't mean you should force that expectation on every contestant who goes on His Man. They are literally just normal people who want a partner, calm down!

Sorry if I sound angry but I fear that as His Man continues fans are just going to get more aggressive and demanding of production and the contestants because they care more about their ship "sailing" than the actual feelings and dilemma's the men have.

I'm really glad to have more queer dating shows coming out but unfortunately with that comes people who just want their "fantasy" (aka BL fetish) to be fulfilled in real life.

Dear GMMTV, enough with the remakes. We get it, your team is lacking creativity and above average actors who can do more than high school or college dramas but leave the actual good BLs alone. We also don't need your lame product placement.
