Good but not great
First off, I really love all the actors. Byeon Woo Soek has solidified his place as an A list actor in Korea. I first saw him in Record of Youth but this role is where he really shined. He has come a long way.I have to say, I did not like the script. I hated the back and forth so many times and just couldn’t keep up.
The music was fantastic. “Rain Shower” is so beautiful. And!!!!! “A Day” by my favorite group (Ateez) member Jongo!! So great!
Also, it was funny how the “bromance” reminded me of True Beauty. I really liked the other guy and also her brother and family!
It took me forever to get through this series but I’m glad I did. As for time travel though, I prefer Twinkling Watermelon.

One of the Best!!!!
Wow, I just finished this series and I am super sad. I loved this so much and didn’t want it to end. My favorite BL genre is mafia and this definitely did not disappoint. But, oh my gosh, there were twists and turns every episode. I actually binge watched this entire series in one day.I loved the cast so much. They all did a fantastic job. The chemistry was off the charts! I loved the main couple but, wow, Yi and Ai Di were exceptional. The heartbreak, the tension, the denial, and the passion…. just wow.
Don’t miss the behind the scenes episode.
This will definitely go on my rewatch list.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Glad I didn’t read the reviews first
I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews ahead of time. A lot are saying this is a waste of time. Everyone’s taste is different. For me, I really enjoyed it. It may have started slow but the second half was interesting and exciting to me.We all love Win but this was my first time seeing Baifern and I just love her. I thought she acted great. Her character started out a little shy and timid but by the end she was taking charge. The chemistry didn’t really appear between her and Win until the end but that’s what the script called for.
Yes, it was another school bullying series but different than I’ve ever seen. Jane did a great job because I hated her so much. Lots of other GMMtv favorites as well.
Give it a try and decide for yourself if it was a waste of time. I say not!

Super Cute
Yes, it would have been better if it was longer and with a better plot. This was definitely low budget (with only 5 human beings in the whole series). But, I really want to give them some love. I think the actors did a great job with what they had. And, since Choi Dong Ho admitted he is not a cheerful person in real life, it had to be the director’s choice. And what he produced was super cute.
We hear the reason Minjae is so cold and stand-offish in the last episode. But things turned out well and I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was sweet and lighthearted and made for a perfect lazy afternoon binge watch.

Sweet relationship between a man and his cat
I started watching this 100% because of Yoo Seing Ho. I had just finished I am not a Robot and looked for more from him. This man has it all. My Lord is he handsome and his acting pulls you in.In this series and Robot, he excels at acting out every emotion. When he smiles, his whole face smiles. When he cries, I have never seen such expressive eyes. You can’t help but feel his pain.
I just love this man.
This was a sweet series. I was laughing so hard at the cat. Where did they find a cat that he could literally do anything to and the cat just put up with it? Amazing.
The girl wasn’t that bad. She was very annoying at first but I thought she was just a genuinely caring person to him and the cat.
Good series. Funny, sad, happy.

I really liked it
I did watch the Thai version a while back but can’t say I remember that much about it. it didn’t really stick with me. Just that Zee and Saint made an odd pairing. The Korean version was super cute and not cringy at all. I loved the personalities of all the actors. The funniest thing to me was the fact that the whole school already knew they were a couple before they did. No one blinked an eye. The breakup scene was the best.
The second couple was my favorite though. There was a lot more depth and emotion in their story. Plus those two guys are both super cuties. I could watch them all day long.
This was a very fast watch and it just made me happy!

I really wish I hadn’t watched this
Pros:Jung Hae In - he made it worth every miserable minute I spent on this show.
In the beginning, the chemistry between the leads was off the charts. That is the type of relationship I have always wanted to have.
Cons:
The whole thing was filmed with some sort of drab filter. It was depressing. Most everything was in shades of black and brown.
If I hear “Stand by Your Man” one more time I think I’ll scream. It was played multiple times in a single episode. EVERY episode. Two different singers didn’t help.
Her mother was a HORRIBLE person. She is the most wicked of the wicked witches I have ever seen in a series. Once she found out about their relationship, the whole series turn a dark turn. Nothing about it was enjoyable. She just made everyone miserable including me.
The FL was great in the beginning and I like her as an actress. But, in this role, I ended up hating her. She was the most selfish person and treated the ML so badly when all he tried to do is protect her and love her with all his heart. But, she started sneaking around and lying to him. I was so heartbroken for him. Even though they got back together in the last TWO minutes of the series, I couldn’t be happy for them.
I just really wish I hadn’t watched this in the first place. It was depressing and made me nervous and upset just watching this stupid show. Why did the writers think this would be enjoyable to watch?

Oh God…no
Like most reviewers have already said, this was cute and fluffy and fun up until the last few episodes. I rarely just binge watch episode after episode but I did this one. I really liked it. Then it took a devastating turn.Let me say the thing I HATE the most in dramas is the breakup because “I don’t like you anymore” (when they really do) just to protect the other person. That is the most hurtful thing you can do. Plus, you don’t know how the other person will react if you tell the truth.
But then, on top of that, to be told he was DEAD when he wasn’t. Then for him to return in 5 years? That was plenty of time for her to move on. After that, we had like 5 minutes of them together and it wasn’t satisfying at all. They just sat on the hill talking like nothing had happened. I almost wished he had stayed dead instead of an ending like this. At least, then, it would have been a beautiful, heartbreaking love story.
Who knew a fun, romantic comedy would have such a completely unnecessary and devastating ending.

This would have been a 10
This started out absolutely fantastic. I loved the whole cast. I binged almost 20 episodes in one night. As more and more episodes went by, I’m thinking why are these guys sleeping in the same bed together? Are these guys together? what’s going on? Is this a BL or not? Unfortunately, I found out that the Viki version is chopped and cut so much the whole thing makes no sense. This definitely would have been a 10 for me but I’m still confused about a lot of things and no closure at the end. And what an ending it was. It was like the ending of an episode expecting more in the next. Sorry to the cast that the censures did you so wrong.I can’t say enough about the cast though. The leads were super hot and very fit. What a great idea to have a bodyguard training facility. They are all very talented actors.

Glad I didn’t read the reviews first
I just read a lot of bad reviews and I am sad this isn’t more popular. I know this series has a lot of issues but, call me crazy, it’s one of my favorites. I completely fell in love with this.Ai fell in love at first sight. He is super hot and tries his best to win Nhai over. He is so kind and patient and thinks everything Nhai does is cute. Doesn’t everyone want a partner like that?
Nhai is spoiled rotten and is selfish and forgetful. I loved the whole losing the ducky keychain thing. Super cute. He was annoying when he threw the cactus in the dryer but quickly apologized.
This just emphasizes how good they are matched. Nhai is spoiled and lazy. Ai is not and wants to take care of him. They are perfect together. There are plenty of love scenes and they didn’t disappoint.
I thought there was plenty of story especially when you add in AI’s mother and sister and the whole con job they pulled. That broke my heart. But so proud of Nhai for standing up to her.
The worst part for me were the subtitles. At times they were wrong or off timing. I didn’t know who was speaking. It got progressively worse throughout the series. if they could fix this I would rewatch over and over.

Could have been the next KinnPorsche
I watched this with great expectations. The first episode was intriguing with the whole look into the future for 4 minutes thing. But as the series went on, it changed from intriguing to downright confusing. The 4 minutes became a blur and different realities were so mixed together that you weren’t able to tell what exactly went with what. If this series had been more straightforward, it could have been on the level as KinnPorsche. But, I thought the acting was superb and I am now a bigger fan of these actors. Bible and Jes made a perfect pairing. I especially loved the “dream-like” sequence where they were extremely happy together. The story about Tonkla was heartbreaking and I shed a few tears for that whole situation.
But overall, the way they made it soooo confusing, I didn’t really enjoy it very much and I won’t be watching it again.

Love this!
Wow, these reviews are brutal. A lot of them are picking My Demon apart piece by piece. So what if the story seems familiar in places? So what if there are ridiculous characters? The only thing that matters is if you enjoy the series. Which I did!! And, for that matter, I give it a 10! This isn’t rocket science. This is entertainment and I was thoroughly entertained.
I have never seen a more beautiful couple. I have rarely seen such chemistry between a couple in the many dramas I have watched. Their playfulness was adorable. Their tenderness towards each other was enviable.
I love the supporting characters as well. I still get teary eyed when I think of how the son was mistreated. That’s saying how powerful the emotions are in this series to stay with me.
Loved this so much.

With Ryeoun, what’s not to love?
Ryeoun is one of the best actors out there. He can do comedy and drama flawlessly. He puts everything into his roles like play the guitar and sword fighting. Everything just seems so natural with him. Plus he’s gorgeous. This was a great story with a mystery and several twists and turns. You just had to fall in love with all the main characters. But, for me, Kang Hoon was the unexpected star of the show. He was superb with all of the emotions he had to portray in this role. He made me laugh and cry.
Watch this! It may start a little slow but it will be worth it for the second half. So good!

One of the BEST!!
I’m going to try to keep this short so there won’t be any spoilers. This is not an epic drama but it will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. This also took you into the world of the deaf which hasn’t been done very much. The acting is superb. The two male leads have stolen my heart big time. Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook are just fantastic.
Ryeoun has the most expressive face and acted out every emotion flawlessly. I read that he even learned to play the guitar for this role.
Choi Hyun Wook was great in the heavier drama Weak Hero Class 1 but I think comedy suits him better. He had me laughing so hard at just his silly interactions with his grandmother.
Seol In Ah won me over in Business Proposal and she played her part perfectly.
Shin Eun Soo is a new actress to me but she is beautiful and talented.
No details about the plot. Let’s just say I laughed and cried (happy and sad) several times. I was so caught up in the story and was on the edge of my seat. This was just one of the best!

This was fantastic
I’m embarrassed to say that I put this one on hold after watching the first couple episodes. One of my biggest dislkes is someone pretending to be something they aren’t. So, once I saw where it was going I put it on hold.I just went back to it and binged watched the rest of the 32 episodes in a few days. This was incredible.
I am now the biggest Yoo Seoung Ho fan on the planet. That man can act! This role required him to: 1) act like a cold and demanding boss, 2) act like someone who is lonely with no social skills, 3) act like a spoiled child, 4) act like a child experiencing happiness for the first time, 5) act like a child being inquisitive and learning new things for the first time, 6) falling in love for the first time, 7) being completely heartbroken, and 8) being intelligent and compassionate.
HIS EYES ARE THE MOST EXPRESSIVE I HAVE EVER SEEN. His crying scenes nearly broke me.
The rest of the cast did a great job too. This is one of the best I have watched.
