Could have been great
The whole plan was confusing to me. Was it because their mothers pushed them into it? The mothers were a little overbearing but I didn’t get that they were being forced. So what was the plan? Get married but not be together? They each loved someone else. If the girls were going to run away, why didn’t they do that first instead of planning an extravagant wedding?The girls were adorable and Lom was drop dead gorgeous. All were great actors. But I’m sorry, Nuea just got on my nerves. I didn’t see him with Lom and didn’t sense any chemistry between them.
Seeing the LITA cast was really great though. The wedding and then the proposal was worth watching if you loved that series.

Masterpiece
Wow, I just finished watching this and I’m still very emotional. I can’t say enough good things about the cast. Everyone did a fantastic job. That little girl… Duoduo… is intelligent way beyond her years. She stole every scene she was in.The story never got boring. Just when you thought it was going to calm down and be peaceful, it all ramped up again. The things those boys had to go though, the things they were willing to do for each other, and the love they had for each other was off the charts. No kiss? There were plenty of touches, hugs, smiles, innuendos, and even some blunt comments. Putting the “lip balm” on his dad’s lips was hilarious.
In my opinion, this is absolutely a must watch! There had better be a season 2!

Really Good
I’m sorry but the reviews are just not accurate, for me at least. I really liked this short series. The actors all did an excellent job. They brought me to tears several times. And, the Grandmother! She was amazing. So kind and understanding.The story was very interesting and I didn’t feel bored at all.
Chin - he had a tough background and he didn’t know how to interact with people. Ohm was perfect for this role. And, so handsome!
Peach - was a ball of energy! Loved his interactions with his grandmother! He was the only person that could see exactly what Chin needed in his life.
Guy - watched this after My Stand In. That show is one of my top favorites. So, I loved him in this. He had some ups and downs but he came out good in the end.
Oab - what a great emotional actor.
Atom - I laughed my head off at him. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind.
Tawan- lord, who is this cutie? Hope we see him around more.
I’m tempted to give this a 10 but will give it a 9 as I would have liked a little less drama and a little more fun and happiness.

I’ll ride with him anytime
My Lord, where has Fluke been hiding? He is absolutely adorable. Beautiful face, gorgeous smile, and the cutest dimples! Very talented too! I hope to see more of him in future works.This story was very interesting to me. All about difficult relationships in one way or another. But when two people are meant to be together, it will happen. Each episode was so good and filled with all kinds of emotions.
Loved the two uncles and Mork’s nephew, Khai. Really cute episode when they go to an amusement park.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!

A little disappointing
This series was a little disappointing. It started out clever and funny but then it got silly and unbelievable. I could have done without the whole last episode.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**MAJOR SPOILERS**
She was in love with Sunwoo (Suho of EXO!!) the entire series and was devastated when he died. Then a few days later she was flirting with the detective that she had helped the entire time and had no romantic feelings for whatsoever. It’s like they were thrown together last minute to give it a happy ending. I didn’t buy it.
The killer being the shaman was predictable.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I usually watch all my K-dramas in Korean with English subtitles. I want to hear the actor’s real voice and emotions. For some reason, I watched this one dubbed. The main cast was dubbed pretty well but there were some that just sounded ridiculous. Such as the man who was psychic by touching legs. They gave him a voice like Eeyore when his Korean voice was nothing like that. Made you think he was totally unintelligent. Surprising how a voice can totally change a character.
Overall, it was okay but there are so many other fantastic series that I could have been watching instead.
Strangely Beautiful
This was strangely beautiful. The story of a man who is deeply depressed with his life. He was stabbed after standing up to bullies, he lost his job, couldn’t pay his bills, and his brother was a gangster. He said over and over again that he wished he would have died because he had no reason to live.Enter the Angel (complete with huge white wings). Throughout the series we learn more about Angel and what happened in his life. His story was heartbreaking but we already know he is an Angel.
The two spend time together and fulfilled each other’s needs. Happiness.
There was no intimate or steamy scenes. No kisses. But do we really want to see a sex scene between a grown man and a boy angel?? This was designated as a BL because they absolutely loved each other.
Loved this so much even through the sadness. This should bring hope for people with depression that help can be found in the most unexpected places.
fun and cute
Loved this series. It’s a quick watch with only 8 short episodes. The story was new for me and I found it very interesting and sweet.The whole cast was great. The two male leads were both very cute.
This story really brought out several emotions. It’s hard enough for heterosexual couples to confess their feelings. I just can.t imagine how much harder it would be for two boys. Lesson leaned to not assume anything. Feelings are hard to express.
Loved this and will rewatch for the cuteness.
Give it a Chance
This series started out ridiculous. The gang, the fake fighting, and cheesy lines were all ridiculous. But, good grief, these characters totally grew on me. This is like nothing I have ever seen before.First off, no one can convince me that Bom is almost 30 years old. He looks at least 10 years younger. Tar’s character seemed older to me the way he had confidence and was the aggressor.
But it all worked. The main thing I liked was the overall story. Loved how they showed how even delinquents can turn their lives around.
I will look forward to more work from these guys.
Ended up loving this!
I started this series a long time ago. I was excited because of all the great reviews. I got about a third into it and I just couldn’t take it anymore.One of my biggest pet peeves is people lying and pretending to be someone they aren’t. This started out like that. Then there was so much yelling and screaming from the girls, I dropped it.
I finally went back to it after a few months and I have to say, once the two leads got together, it became a different show. I ended up loving the last half.
Nam Joo Hyuk has been a favorite of mine since Haebek. He was cuter than ever in this. He is such a great comedic actor.
Lee Sung Kyung was so annoying at first with her pursed lips and loud personality. During my break I watched her in Dr. Romantic 2-3 and really liked her. So I gave her another chance. She is very talented.
The two leads were so hilarious together and made a perfect match. I ended up loving this series.
This was bad
I’m sorry, I know some people liked this series but, for me, it was bad. it started out okay but kept getting worse. By episode 11, I was ready to pull my hair out.Fah and Thorn were the worst couple ever. I felt bad for Thorn. He really tried to keep his promises to Fah. When things started to fall apart he tried to communicate with Fah. There was no misunderstanding. Fah was just cold or stupid. He would hardly open his mouth even knowing how much he was hurting Thorn. And the slow speech and even slow body movements were killing me!
I loved Saen and Aii the most. What a breath of fresh air after the continuing torture with Fah and Thorn.
Didn’t really care for Vee and ( I can’t even remember the other one’s name). Could have been good but they were never really together so there was no chemistry.
All in all, didn’t care for this one.
Left me unsatisfied
The story started out great. Lots of potential. The acting was good. But the whole thing spun out of control. Multiple couples were formed and I was never sure who would end up together. Lots of confessions of love but no confirmation. All that being said, no one was together long enough to build any kind of chemistry. The ending was stupid and confusing and it was just the last straw for me not to give this a better review. The whole idea of the King’s game is fun but only if the order is for the duration of the game. It shouldn’t be taken so seriously that it could potentially ruin someone’s life. The ending was just so open ended that it left me very unsatisfied.Was this review helpful to you?
Loved it
After reading some reviews, not every series has to be Oscar-worthy. This just made me happy. The characters in this series were all so cute and sweet. No bullies or fights. Only confrontation was with parents and one jerk boyfriend. But I loved this so much because it had me smiling almost the entire time. Even the emotional moments were sad but beautiful. Plus the OST is so catchy and good that you want to hear it again and again. I never skipped the intro. Also added it to my playlist. So far, I have watched this series twice. It’s definitely a quick pick me up.Was this review helpful to you?
Very enjoyable
First off, it’s been a while since I finished The Eclipse so it took me a minute to remember all the references. First/Khao are just so cute together. I really felt a connection to First and his feelings. I’m a doer as well and it sometimes hurts when actions are not reciprocated. I love that it had just the right amount of story with tender scenes mixed in. I felt so comfortable watching First and Khao together. There was no awkwardness at all between them. Louis and Neo were very sweet too. And, by the way, when did Neo get so handsome and ripped? Wow. The rest of the cast was good as well. Loved the music, especially “their” song. Locations were beautiful. Will probably watch this again.Was this review helpful to you?
Blown Away!
I just finished this series and I can say that this 100% blew me away. Everything about it was fantastic. Can I give it more than 10/10?Blown Away by:
* The story! So compelling and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It was clever, emotional, funny, intense, and heartbreaking.
* The actors were phenomenal. I have to say War (Joker) deserves a best acting award for this series. He was so incredible. He’s just so versatile. Yin (Jack) was also amazing. You could tell he put everything he had into this role. So talented and so handsome.
* The rest of the cast was great. No one was overly goofy. They were all legitimately funny, serious, and perfect for their roles. But the grandmother stole the show for me. Loved her!
This series was just so good! It was a very high quality production. For me, it’s in my top four along with KinnPorsche, Manner of Death, and The Sign. Watch it!!
Disappointed
First, Joongdunk is one of my most favorite BL couples. They are both very handsome and talented. But the story was so bad that even they couldn’t save it. I will say that GMM always shoots in beautiful locations and has high quality visuals. But, at times, I was embarrassed for the actors because it was so awkward. There was no substantial story and the dialogue was just cheesy. And not in a good way. This seemed so forced like the writers just wrote something quick so they could be included in this series. It wasn’t fair to the whole cast. Thankfully, they have Hidden Agenda coming up and it looks promising.Was this review helpful to you?
