You're probably right, but I think his behaviour was too consistently bad for me to excuse it with mental illness. He definitely deserves a chance to be a better partner, but imo not before going through a ton of therapy, which probably would take years. Maybe if they include a time jump or something, but I don't think that's gonna happen

No idea what the last two episodes will bring, but I think they went too far with Kelvin for him to be redeemed in my eyes. I'm sure he'll be forgiven and whatnot, but right now I personally don't want him to be.

Don't get me wrong, I do love me some red flags in my BL. But if it's the self harm that gets him back together with Vier, I'm gonna throw hands, because so far he didn't even understand that he's the one causing Vier's trauma. Why would I root for someone like that to get what he wants.

I think they told Kelvin he's dead to hurt him, but I also found it weird how they ended the episode with Vier unconscious in the hospital (with possible brain damage, mind you) and the in the next scene he went to see Kelvin.

Either there's something I just don't understand or it's messed up pacing or something. They didn't even let Kelvin sit with the pain and the guilt it must've caused him to think Vier's dead, which I think would've been important to see.

If it had half the episodes, it would have been a nice slice of life. But it dragged on too long, unfortunately.

Loved the plot and the actors, but the series itself was a bit boring for me, unfortunately. Also, I wish they had cast different actors for their older versions, because as surprising as this may seem, these 20-somethings don't look at all like middle aged men 🤣

k i've finished it now :D What I liked the most was Bom's actor and the scene where he came up between the cinema seats. I did enjoy it overall, but there's a ton of things I have to overlook and not think about anymore to not ruin it for myself.

I had to get used to the minimal facial expressions of the two main leads at first and I thought it wouldn't be for me.... In the end, I binged it in two days 🤣 Their chemistry was amazing, especially in the first half. The second half dragged on for too long, though

Out of the three Chinese BLs I finished (Desire, Revenged Love & this one) To My Shore is by far my favourite.

yeees! I also loved Peach's face whenever Thee said soap opera type stuff. He didn't always tell him how cheesy it was, but you could still see it in his face that he was thinking it and probably thought it was cute 🤣
