i'm merely stating a fact that this guy is neither good looking nor talented and that's the problem with the industry. tiny beady eyes , big crooked nose & always playing this nice innocent guy the same everytime. I've never been told I'm ugly but I don't hate on someone because they look like Mr Potato head, but at least develop some acting range and charisma even if you got lucky/connections. If you think this guy is hot, it says more about your taste .

everyone is hardworking, nobody gets anywhere without hard work. Fact is he's nothing special and got such special treatment right from the start. Whether it's because he has a rich daddy or he got lucky, doesn't really matter. It just shows how unfair the ent industry is in china. Don't tell me you didn't know about all the nepo babies and rich parents paying to get their kids big roles in china. It's gross.

Stars are chosen for their bank ability, not necessarily because they are the best actors or has the looks. They keep pushing for meek albino looking twinks as ML, they only appeal to school girls. Nobody cared about "It Started with a Kiss* unless you were 12 years old back then. Men young and old don't like him, mature women also aren't fans of them. They can only be teen idols and never will become superstars that everyone loves.

the casting director must be blind or got a big envelope of cash then. The guy's looks won't even pass for a 2nd ML in low budget short web dramas and has charisma of stale white bread. The industry keeps giving him lead roles and brainwash ppl to believe he's some super heartthrob, but face it, guys like that wouldn't even get looked at twice on the street IRL.

they always cast these really basic looking ppl. The guy just looks like any average 5/10 guy in china with make up /professional hair cut. I remember that xiao ai dude from the village that got famous from getting looksmaxxing advice, even that dude is better looking and has more charisma. If I see this dude on the street, I wouldn't know he's a star. Girls love average looking guys next door these days, but for guys, I don't want to see these mid guys pretending to play the hot dude

probably both leads are kids of rich investors. They both got lead roles at the start of their career...let's face it, their looks are dime a dozen in china. Rich kids win again.

He's from xinjiang, western china, he probably has some uyghur/kazakh/uzbek or some type of central asian genetics. He just doesn't look Han Chinese, looks like a west chinese. Even Han chinese looks varies in terms of eye shape, nose, etc...but his looks certainly has some non-han elements. If he's han, which is what his name suggests, then he must have some central asian genetics from past generations

enjoying this. Puzzled by the low ratings. It's not your typical medical drama where doctors are the focus. This is an interesting holistic look at the medical system. From government bureaucracy, hospital politics, health worker's own ups and downs, impact on family/patients and their expectations all tied in together.. Patients aren't just one dimensional subjects or nuisance for doctors...and the docs aren't here to wow you or entertain you. ..they are all presented like real humans characters that are integral part of the story. The characters feel human and i can feel what the patients and families are going through
