honestly no depth in this drama, but it's a good watch if you don't want anything serious, try not to understand many things, we have too many unanswered questions and the leads felt like they didn't have any fire to them, it's only the villains that actually had more depth and substance...I watched because I love both leads..if I were to binge watch it, I might have dropped it

I have been watching kdramas since 2017, I have seen over 200 kdramas, I believe that is enough for me to know when acting has improved or not, in fact, my favorite actors are park jihoon and lee joon gi, undeniably good actors...so I can assure you that his acting has improved, but if you still believe that it hasn't, then go ahead. it's your opinion. might I say that he has acted cold characters in his early days who have no expression, did you watch rookie historian? or island? or perfect world? there is no one in the entire world that would have watched those dramas that would still tell me he hasn't improved and I'll believe it. I Don't watch dramas for beauty, so for me, pretty privilege doesn't count when I watch an actor or a drama. but yea I understand that you mean that is why they keep choosing him for roles.
the way he delivered Perfect world or rookie historian, he also has a movie I've forgotten it's name with Lee jong suk, he did so well in it.
anyways, no problem for you he can't act after eight years, but for others that see his improvement, don't think it's because he is handsome, if you genuinely think that, then there is a problem

I'm almost done with the drama and I read the reviews of people complaining about favouritism and their favorite being cast aside like a support character and I really don't know what they are seeing...as far as I'm concerned I watxhed this drama for chen duling cause I love her and I'm neither a fan of ju jinyi or hate her, I'm also a fan of yan an, not a fan of tian junrui or Joseph zheng or hate them but I really fell in love with their acting, I didnt feel anyone was overshadowed, I focused so much on the story line and ended up falling inlove with bai ze and the white haired hua chi or what's his name...even the weasel...every one was so great I felt their hardwork put in the drama...well done i must say
