Love is universal, love is inclusive. But an LGBTQ+ person's love is unique because their love will always be connected to their struggle for equality. That, for us, loving someone is a huge undertaking, especially under a homophobic society. Some people choose to hide who they really are, but there are people who choose to love openly despite knowing they will be oppressed for being true to themselves because loving this person is worth it in the end.
