A Hidden Gem!
I stumbled upon this drama and only watched it because I recognized the 1ML and knew of his good acting. I’m so happy that I watched it. It’s a different take when compared to the other time traveling dramas and it’s so refreshing and funny. In short, if you’re on the fence, go ahead and watch it. It’s worth your time.There is a S2 that is already out. When I wrote this review, for some weird reason, MDL hasn’t added S2 yet. However it’s already aired and I’m on the last few episodes.

Worth Watching
I have just finished ep 27. I don’t usually write reviews but after reading some of the bad ones, I feel compelled to write mine. I started watching this show, regardless of some poor reviews, because of the 3 leads. I’ve watched their other dramas before so I’m familiar with them. The plot so far is intriguing and kept me wanting to see more. The chemistry between both MLs and FL is great and their interactions with one another feel real to me. I can sympathize with Lu AnRan and Mu Chuan. My heart hurt for Mu Chuan more than Lu AnRan’s but it would appear that the tide is turning for Mu Chuan starting around ep 26.If you have doubts, just keep watching. It’s really a good cdrama. Not the best that I’ve seen in 2022 but it is not as bad as some people thought.

What a beautiful love story
My 2nd rewatch because I love this show and its cast so much especially the leads. This show has many of my favorite stars. (XuKai, Liu xueyi, Leo lai, Jenny zhang, just to name a few). I’ve been a fan of XuKai since The Story of Yanxi Palace and watched all shows and movies. This was my first with DongYu and I really, really adore her! She has a delicate and so beautiful face and to me, she fits the character very well. I love the chemistry between her and XuKai and the chemistry with the other leads and supporting cast is great too. No one seemed “out of place” and their acting is so good that I even love the bad guys! 😄 Definitely need lots of tissues! Even though I watched it 2x before, my heart still broke in pieces and I cried my eyes out again and again. The soundtrack is one of the best in c-dramas.
