Yeah, no. Neither HB or JA would allow the other to cut ties with their families even if they themselves would be willing to do it. Just because you would be satisfied with that doesn't make it a real solution for the characters.

Well, they didn't really explain it well on the show. But with them registering their marriage, she became the sole heir so unless they went to court to contest (and likely lose) there isn't really much they could do about it.

Currently the leads have absolutely no romantic interest in each other, this most likely will change as the series progressess but that doesn't mean any twotiming will happen. FL is also not misleading anyone that she's is back with her ex, SHE is back with him. She isn't ready to meet his parents, but considering they just got back together that's natural.

You misunderstand what "consent" means in this context. It's not about whether someone has the right to break up or not. It's about having an amicable split instead of someone just ghosting you (extreme example and not what JH did).
