The dread I feel as this show nears its ending is palpable yet I can’t help but look forward to the finale. This show genuinely helped patched up the wounds I’ve endured this year.
And to think that the last episode airs on my birthday. What a bittersweet present. 🥹💞
Season 2 is not a want—it’s a NEED! 🤧
I’d really love to see the LA of them graduating, their relationship progressing, and—
To each their own, yes. But going out of your own way to taint a show that is well received by the people screams nothing more than a narrow minded, socially inept, intellectually challenged individual.
It wouldn’t receive such high acclaim if it didn’t deliver what it promised in the first place. Coming back here week after week just to throw unwanted and unneeded weight does nothing to contribute to the discussion.
Go where you’re wanted. It’s that simple.
To reiterate, this show is a success because the cast, music, cinematography, acting—heck, even the marketing, the execution—is nothing short of exemplary.
Gosh, it’s like something is ought to be burned at the stake just because it doesn’t fit your sense of taste, whatever that may be.
And the people saying that these kind of shows ultimately only pander to one kind of audience, that being women who fetishize? Sweetheart, ever considered adding representation to your vocabulary?
You can’t be queer and be backwards. Pick a struggle.
There's a popular argument against these fluffy BLs that teenage boys are just horny and would jump each other…
True that. It pains me that they can’t even grasp such a simple concept. I heavily dislike people who mindlessly consume media to sate their own narratives—little to no effort in comprehending what the show is about and how it was executed. Most of the time, these are the people that tend to enjoy works like Jinx (my disgust towards the work is rightfully justified), etc. Unfortunately, these outliers exist no matter which side. Truly a spectrum, haha.
When Jealousy Hits Different: That Letter Slap in Episode 8Okay so I need to talk about that scene. You know the…
As always, your take is on point. It takes me back to certain moments and scenes of the show—and to that, I am grateful. I wish the best for my pookies, Kan and Kodai, they really brought the story alive. Phenomenal.
And Watarai?
He fell first, and God, he fell harder.
You devoured him. 😭✋🏻
Three seconds for the first kiss.
Five for the second.
And the third—thirty-two seconds long, ending only when Hioki could no longer stand.
THIRTY-TWO WHOLE SECONDS !!!
Watarai… you absolutely devoured my Hioki.
I’m not okay. 😭😭
