And ofcourse another movie i cried my eyes out. One thing i didnt understand; why did he looked suprised when…
it was the guy who was 'arrested' for yelling out loud in the room how wrong the law is back when fujimoto was undergoing training. Apparently that guy was brainwashed like how every other thought-crime criminals were

I've seen this a lot in the comment sections but I just have to say it again. I totally loved ryu tae oh's character. Honestly I did not expect such good acting and I'm glad you've proved me wrong Lee joon. It was so intriguing for me to watch tae oh's expressions and trying to grasp his ever complicated emotions and state of mind. I really appreciated how well Lee joon managed to deliver tae oh's conflicting behaviour, since I've always liked psychologically complex characters and i am definitely satisfied with this one. It really made the show worth watching even with its many flaws and flaws and flaws. I got so irritated with the drama so often but I stayed for ryu tae oh and it was worth it. I preferred the ending episodes rather than the beginning as I felt it had more heart to it and also the beginning episodes felt like an annoying appetiser that I must get through to the main course. But still it was enjoyable nevertheless. I quite like ma ji ul's character too. She would have been someone I would really admire in real life. I love how caring, sympathetic and joyful she is and I can understand why she is such a crybaby. She has the ability to sympathise with the pain and troubles of others. A sensitive soul like her notices the minute details of a persons character and feelings others could not. The relationship between tae oh and ji ul is such a beautiful arc for me I wished more was told of it. The trust issues and having faith for change in a psychotic killer was the main theme for me. Only then followed by the theme of a healing process to get over scars of the past just because I felt like some parts were really unexplained.
