in my defense I watched Hidden Love months ago and I went into First Frost completely blind 😵😵 just finished and rated it 10/10 BJT is PERFECTION. argue with a wall!!!!

it took me 29 eps… until the mention of Duan jiaxu… to realize this is SANG YAN omg. of HIDDEN LOVE SANG YAN I FEEL SO STUPIDDDDDD it’s such a beautiful show and Sang Yan is suuuuuch a wonderful character in this 😍😍😍

really sad how it completely stopped being about cooking entirely and crossed over to some basic business dispute and why FL would make some choices with her bfs brother I just don’t understand. I know brother was downplaying a lot and lying to her but also why is she around him so much…idk some disappointments in the later half of this show

I think all the women? they look like they’re 1 singular step away from tossing away all the men and being gay together. it’s beautiful actually.

I would recommend picking it back up because ep 12 is by no means an indicator of how the show ends.

I would say that very quickly the wife and FL have a deeper and closer relationship than between wife and ML. honestly the scenes between ML and his wife are FEW and far between and ML is always clear that FL is the one he loves. there’s not even a shadow of doubt it’s actually crazy and amazing to see.

the amount of phone call interrupts is off the chain. I don’t even have balls, but they’re blue from this show! the amount of kisses or truths getting blocked by a freaking phone call over and over again 😵 yes there is breakup episode(s) idk how long it lasted exactly though. the timeline of them getting together is weird… it’s like kinda official around ep 18ish? maybe a bit before but the timeline is weird because she’s like trying to get him from ep 1 basically.

I finished this drama for Edward Lai's performance and character. I never knew he was in an idol group and have never heard of him before but I absolutely loved his character so much and Edward played it beautifully! I wasn't much of a fan of the rest of the story, or how it was played out, especially the makeover as a lot of other people mentioned. I'm white+American so I don't have a voice here other than it just made me really uncomfortable.

I would consider Coach + Professor a secondary couple, they got a lot of screentime. XD

This drama was amazingly refreshing!! I absolutely loved every episode, I hated no character. They all played their roles very well and I loooooved the chemistry!! Korean dry humor is the best and this drama delivers!
