I would give this drama a perfect 10 if its end at episode 26 after Little dog performed the cataract surgery on russia ambassador, and the king pardoned and promoted him from his lower class....
I've slightlylost interest with the story after 5 years jump(26th episode)....The writer switched the focus from Jejoongwon story to Japanese story
and the writer opted for melodramatic ending for the final episode with with another separation and reunion between Hwang Jung and Seok Ran...
I've been annoyed for almost half of the story because they trying to exaggerate comedy scenes....especially from ohn dal character....but after that,it became decent...
Lee Kang Hoon is both protagonist and antagonist in this drama...He has a very complex character...you dont know whether to like him,to hate him,to pity him or to admire him....
Shin Ha -kyun is definitely made for this character,,,

one of the underrated drama.....4 peoples, 2 couples....There is no 2nd lead actor/actress in the drama....both couple share the same amount of time in the drama....
a typical makjanng style drama. Full of known korean drama cliche.Revenge,secret,love-hate,hatred,evil mother,father,in-law,bitchy female 2nd lead,accident,amnesia,noble idiocy.....
This is a good drama with good plot,although sometime feel ridiculous. Action, Love, Conflict, Revenge....The pace of the story is slow especially 1st 8 episodes,a bit draggy, but somehow it is addictive...
now i know why this drama got an average rating of 24% during its airing....it got the same feeling as watching saguek drama ( korean love saguek)...
