I believe people are concerned it's being released on his birthday, the concept of the Kpop group in the show is very similar to Shinee's concept, also the aspect of going back to save an idol who has passed. Also Jonghyun was one of the first idols to openly talk about depression like the character. There are more in depth videos all over TikTok

Considering this isn't a show and was something they won I don't think they're is going to be a second season

Honestly I didn't think of that in the scene I thought of it as him teasing Rain I guess it was mostly because he fixed his car with no expenses and gave him a place to sleep where he would be comfortable. Also because Rain eventually felt comfy enough to climb into the bed so I assumed he was okay but noting that its Mame's work its probably a very different scene in the book.
