Actually, I have come to realise that whether people "do that" or "don't do that" depends on:
• the age, upbringing and background of the person in question;
• the country, time and culture of the place, where the situation is happening.

Dunno, it was cute, but I read JamieMar book and it was cool, kinda bummed they didn't film that.

Having 8 episodes could've been okay. They should've just taken out the unnecessary drama with the little sisters and Nava&Sky and given Dindin&Tawan more screentime. Focusing on 2 couples would've given it more character depth.
Think of examples like Fourever you, which gives each couple 8 episodes.
Tawan's trauma basically wasn't covered at all and that was a huge miss.
