I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda sick of coming on here and seeing people complain about how much they hate this…
Seriously. It's so easy to just not watch a drama if you don't like it or vibe with it, instead of forcing yourself to watch it and complain every time. Ruins the mood of yourself and other viewers who actually like the drama.
Cdramas (webdrama) tend to have these cliche romance plots (low budgets, plotholes, etc), because people like…
This is such a bad take. Crying and showing emotions doesn't equate to regression. Not everything needs to have female empowerment embedded into it, but this drama still did more by including the part where the girls are filmed illegally/ being afraid to use public restrooms, which is one of the biggest issues women face in Korea, also mentioning the insufficient legal punishments for such acts; all of which are not present in the manhwa. Even in the drama, both Hari and Youngseo aren't helpless damsels in distress. Both stand to the ground in their own way. Emotionally opening up to someone should not be seen as a weakness. Seeing it as such is the problem. I feel like you have a personal vendetta against this drama, which is actually really sad. You have already painted this drama in a negative way so everything that happens in the drama will be disliked by you. So please just drop this drama and watch the ones that fit your preference; instead of forcing yourself into watching something you don't like and calling its viewers "10 year olds".

I don't think they have rushed the FL getting over her crush and developing feelings for the ML. The only thing different/rushed was Minwoo finding out, his and Taemoos encounter, and Hari standing up for Taemoo. But it's understandable cause they have to compress all those chapters into 12 episodes. For me personally, it's like a light-hearted throwback to the old rom coms with cliche and unrealistic plots. I loved the manhwa and I love the drama as well. Everyone has different preferences so I don't think this drama is for you.
I’ve been thinking for years that most kdrama rom coms or predominantly romance dramas period should be 8-12…
Yes, I agree with this. Even though I would love to see it being longer... it would definitely not be possible without stretching the story or bringing in some unnecessary angst or misunderstandings. Most rom-com dramas with 16 episodes always feel somehow stretched to me and I end up getting bored or annoyed with the pacings. So yeah 8-12 episodes in length would actually be perfect.
I hope Korean broadcasting companies keep on giving us dramas like this once in a while. Full of fluffs, not much angst or misunderstandings or traumas etc etc. Yes, it's great to watch dramas with great and serious plots, but sometimes I just want to end a stressful day by watching something light-hearted. This drama has already made me anticipate Mondays and Tuesdays...idk how I'll fill the void after it ends airing.
If you love this drama, please also watch Something About 1 Percent. It also has contract dating turned to actual romance. The drama has no angsty plot or elongated misunderstandings and is full of romance fluffs. It is lighthearted and the leads have great chemistry. It's so nice to watch when you want to destress.
Can you tell me those better cdramas? I'm looking for some more cliché fluffs.
Thank you so much for the list. Work has been so stressful lately that my brain can't handle serious plots. I've watched a few of them, gonna watch the others now. Thank you again.
FUTURE EPISODE SPOILER! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!
Poor Sunghoon, facing the fate of Hari for going on the blind date. And with that annoying girl too. Can't wait to see how they show Youngseo claiming her man in the drama. And how the man claims her hand from her dad. I'm sooo excitedd!!!
Covering eyes, screaming, crying, giggling, frolicking, leg kicking, toe curling, fangirling...dI'm doing literally everything rn....this is so cute and fluffy and EVERYTHING. But now, back to the treacherous waiting game. But first, let me rewatch the episode 10 times again lmao.
I watched the preview and since I've read the manhwa as well, I know what's gonna happen next. I think they changed how Minwoo finds out about them not being in an actual relationship, but I want to tell everyone not to be too worried. Trust Taemu and Hari. This will be one of the fluffiest, most light-hearted, anti-stress (except the weekly waiting) series ever.
