With 2 episodes, I could definitely say that the show has potential. Production is good, but it could be better. Filipinos are innately talented, and I wish the show could execute the overall production well—because the contestants and watchers deserve high-quality production. Hoping that they extend the duration so we can enjoy it longer (and more fan content can be made to promote).
the budget. i can't wait to see the first ep before i share my thoughts. but so far, this is better compared to the previous pop survival shows the country offered.
i feel like a lot of people won't watch this or maybe they won't appreciate this kind of k-drama. but, I am not a fan of k-dramas but this is my favorite. my comfort drama. I'll definitely watch it again with my family.
the fact that everyone seems to have a mixed reaction to this drama speaks a lot. honestly, i stopped watching kdrama cause of its recycled stories—i mean even if the concept and story are overused, we still enjoy it right? however, i just finished watching this one cause i was forced, but wow, i'm utterly speechless. after finding out that this drama got a lot of "hate" for being cliche, and the never-ending comparison of "better" and older dramas with this masterpiece, i somehow get what they are trying to imply and it stink. hence, i was expecting this to have at least a rating of 8.0 flat. anyway, i totally enjoyed the show. i laughed, cried and fell in love again with kdrama once again.
This is probably the first series where I have liked both couples. They all have good chemistry and the acting…
finally someone said it. the whole zol agenda bothers me. im not sure what kind of sibling dynamics they have but the fact that she doesn't respect zol says a lot.
idk about u but that thing with saying things u don't mean at times...I relate to that a lot. Type swears a lot…
TharnType is actually my first BL (now I've watched more than 10 BLs but I can't find other series that can match TTTS for me). As the saying goes 'to each his own'.
@kitkat what made me love the series is Type's character development. You will totally have a hard time to connect with his character because he is a complicated person with a past that is darker than the black hole itself. A past that become the root of him today (his homophobic phase). The story unfolds and the viewers have to wait for their love to bloom and basically that's what we have experienced. It's a journey with an actual development and it moves forward in an extensive rate compared to other bl series.
I want to be completely honest with this series. The fact that this was well-promoted before they released the 1st ep got my expectation high. But after watching the latest episode which is ep 4, I just don't feel it. The transition of the scenes were bad, disjointed and confusing. Some scenes doesn't make sense at all and some of them are insignificant in the story so I'm not sure why they need to include those (well, I guess for the sake of comedy). The subtitle is pissing me off.
Zon and Saifah's scenes are comedic relief. However, some of their scenes were disjointed. I like them cause they are cute together. I can't wait how they progress.
For Fighter and Tutor, I definitely love their story more cause they do have a story to tell. The main reason why I'm watching this is because of Saint but wow, his chemistry with Zee is good. Despite people loving Zon and Saifah's story more, I prefer Tutor's. Despite the sad cliche theme, it seems to be more realistic and relatable compared to the other couple (but hey, this story is purely fiction lmao).
I'm not giving the series up, I just hope it gets better. I love it, actually. I just don't like how the story lacks logical connection.
