tan told bun his back story about his family, that kinds hints towards it. He went to go see pued brother and addressed him as brother too, there seems to be a connection .

i dont know if this helps but , he/ she are the same word in mandarin ' ta' , only difference is the charaters , it could just be a mistranslation either on the translators part or if they auto translated it.
For reals Thai dramas are quality content, the humour is different than other Asian dramas and just fun to watch, love me a good period drama the settings are done so well.
