Hes so cute i acc love him , they better get a happy ending. 2021 has been a boss at giving us sad ones i dont think i can handle another sad last epi.
Also, is anyone chinese and read the novel? I am reading the translation right now, but the author seems to be…
Not exactly! I’m not a native speaker, all I know is through what I’ve learnt through dramas and the two Chinese elective I took in college . But basically :
他 - Tā ( him ). 她- Tā( her) and 它( it) , when you say Tā you don’t technically know if it’s a m/f unless you know who or what you’re acc talking about, it’s down to context. But when you reading all three have different characters so you're able to tell.
But I do think it is Deffo more simple , but then again idk if they if pronoun for they Tāmen (他们) , would be used in the context of gender pronouns.
I think English in general has that clear cut gender pronouns but in other languages it tends to be vague. Some languages and cultures dont use ' they' in terms of expressing gender. Idk if that makes sense. At the end of the day only a native speaker would able able to answer properly. I've been sat here past 10 mins trying to figure out how it works in my mother tongue too lool.
