I also grew up watching American or westernized shows and I am not Asian however XuKai was my first and still favorite Chinese actor that one of my friends quite a few years ago now said expand you Mind watch Yanxi Palace Arsenal Military Academy and now I have seen all of his dramas. He really made me appreciate and made want to learn more about Chinese culture I have expanded my horizon over time watching a lot of Chinese and now some Korean dramas but I feel as though he the type of actor that could work in films outside of China. He has a very charismatic presence about him and is still my favorite by far.
Anyone who looks at this drama and looks at the ratings on this site. Don’t bother. This is one of the best suspense crime dramas of the year and XuKai’s performance is really outstanding I have watched this a second time this week and I think I enjoyed it even better the second time around 10 stars from me

Hi again I am an international fan and Marcus here is something I watch and once a week he goes through the top ten web dramas and also the top ten TV dramas on a Sunday On Thursday at the end of his broadcast he gives his thoughts on which drama he believes will top the web and TV dramas and he believes that Eight Hundred will top the web dramas this week
Just saw Marcus here on You Tube he normally reports on the top web and TV dramas every week. Well Eight Hundred has been topping the daily charts so he believes it will be the top web drama this week. I am so happy for XuKai and all of the actors on this drama
I am loving this drama the script acting is really good. I have to say XuKai’s acting performance is IMO great to date and I have a new appreciation for his acting. Well done so far XuKai
