hyonwoo became famous for saving a drowning kid there. if so, then both haein and her mother would know it was him not her brother who saved her.

I think eun seung saved hae in, hyon woo saved eun seung, and hae in's brother just drowned

if he loved her he'd let her go, but he wants to own her. tho I guess there are many flavors of love, maybe that's just his way. still, it's probably not a very healthy mindset. he's hurting himself and her.
