I can tell that the novel's plot is much better than the drama. I love Du Ling Feng's character in drama because in novel his quiet childish yet funny. And the novel's plot is way more interesting rather than in drama (because of their mothers) I enjoyed watching the romance between the 4 leads. 40 episode is too much for light drama and I'm afraid that the plot will be dragging to much so it's better if it has 24 episodes.

The ratings of the drama both in Cable TV and streaming platforms. So the views of in wetv app and youtube is not counted in CABLE TV ratings.
