I skipped most of the 1st part of the novel too...I hope they don't show too much of part 1 in the drama version. After part 2 is very good. My favorite is part 3. Not sure if they will keep the same as the novel...there is a lot of steamy scenes in the novel and they would probably make it china-tv approve pg-13.

WK would be perfect for the ML because in the novel, ML is older than FL by 8yrs! But I really like Xu Kai too and looking forward to their cooperation. I think screen writer will have to make changes to ML's age in drama version. Everyone can see there is no way Xu Kai looks older than TSY by 8 yrs.

Yeah, WK fans were saying its his first time opening his mouth during a kiss. Guess TSY is special. I don't know how artists can remain good friends after that kiss?!

In this drama's ending, there are no cliff hangers. Everything has a satisfying conclusion!

I agree with most of your predictions. However, I really like He Rui Xian and would be sad to see her play Ji Xing's rival, Zeng di. Zeng Di's character is very annoying in the novel.
I also like Gao Han ..he would be good as Tong Song, Han Ting's uptight but loyal right hand man/secretary.
Wang Yuan Ke would be good as Han Yuan, HanTing's cousin/business rival.
Wang Yi Lan will probably be the roommate of JiXing.

Me too! I come here for withdrawal support. Been replaying the BTS, love seeing their interactions between the 2 leads. They get along so well and looks so comfortable working together that many people start shipping them off screen too.

Everyone have their different view of beauty. I like Seven Tan sweet girl next door look. But when enjoying a drama, it mostly comes down to good acting. Seven tan is not the most beautiful but she is able to draw billions of audiences to chase her dramas.

I am her chinese fan and I still don't understand why some fans think they have the right to decide who gets top billing. Sometimes I don't think those are real fans...maybe they are just haters trying to make trouble.

I can see why Chen Xiao have a defensive attitude torward her superiors. Maybe CX is initially rebellious to GNT because he reminded her of her mother being so strict. Glad to she finally she start to feel comfortable around him in ep12.

I didn't know pilots have to match a description of a model. Respectable producers and directors care more about finding someone with acting skills rather than someone who is "tall". People who respond to you are not defensive fans...it is because you sound like Directer Jiang.

Yes, thats what I don't understand. Yang yang played a drama based on a book written by the same author but his fans are very supportive and there are lots of positive hype. Why is seven and xu kai get a lot of negative reaction?

I think seven has a lot of experience in entertainment industry and she usually pick good scripts. The author of the book has hx of plagiarism but in this particular book, there is no plagiarism. She is a good actress and many directors likes her so I she will continue to have scripts offers.

After reading Yuzheng post, it does not sound like he want to make trouble. He sound pretty decent. He mentioned he like Tan Song Yun and look forward to the cooperation and Xu Kai did not fight for position.

You are right, I see more of SevenTan's fan complaining and I feel bad for both actors because I like them both and so happy to see their cooperation. I think fan should support their idols instead trying to be their career advisor. Seven Tan has history of a lot of cyber bullying from Liu Hao Yuen's fan and after her mother's death, I think that's what make her want to be low key...now her fans are making things worse for her by trying to controll her career choices.

There is a new rumor of a costume period drama with chenxiao but I don't want to get my hopes up because most are false.

I heard in March, an author sued Jiuyuexi on another book she wrote,"xiao nanfeng" for plagiarism.
I don't understand if the rumors of this drama has been out for a long time already, why does some of seven's fan decided to boycott now? When many things has been set up already , I heard a source says its too late to boycott. YangYang just completed a firefighter drama based on a novel written by the same author. YangYang fans didn't boycott. We'll see how that drama goes. Hopefully Seven's fan will support whatever she decides.

ML is 7-8yrs older than FL. Hopefully screen-writer can make some adjustments to fit XK baby face.😅
