I don't dislike the actors, I don't know them. I dislike their acting. I finished it bc I loved the plot and the visual story telling. I had certain expectation of what kind of face an actor should make in certain situation and I was often disappointed. I guess if you go into the drama with other acting expectations it would seem different. I looked into your completed dramas list and I think you've just not watched enough to really inderstand good acting. But if we compare the actors of this series with the actors of for example "I Told Sunset About You" and "Unknown" you should see a difference.

I really didn't expect to finish watching this series with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart ...
I loved the atmosphere of it, the lighting in some scenes was surprisingly exquisite and the love scenes are beautifully choreographed. The plot wasn't only angsty but also exciting and unpredictable (I was always surprised what schemes Fan Xiao pulled to manipulate Shulang)
It would go to onto my favorite list if not for the biggest flaw. The acting. None of the actors were even half decent, they were all pretty bad at acting. The worst of all was Fan Xiaos actor X_X. This character is so extremely complicated, it requieres very good subtle acting skills and he couldn't even get out basic reactions lol. Realistically its a 5 but it was still an emotional roller coaster to me so I gave it a 7 for the "vibes"
I hope in the future this gets a remake with better actors.

I still not quiet understand what was so negative about depicting the racism and sexism in the webtoon? I mean these things are happening its a fact and its good to talk about this and criticise it. Or was it portrayed as something positive in the webtoon?

This will act a warning for todays youth who are bullies and criminals and want to be famous. They will see that no matter how long ago you shit behaviour was you will get punished for it. Ok theft as teenager and drunk driving ones are mybe just puberty shenanigans but assault and sexual assault? Its psycho behaviour.
