AGREE! I hate this when someone really important dies and the other characters is all sad and desperate (like me) but then at the very end they add a 'happy end' with a philosophic monologue -_- Why just don't make him die instead? It was hard eneuogh that they couldn't be together properly bc of family and then they come with tumor?!
