The actor who played Bas was outstanding. Man ive never cried so hard in a BL series. Also this is one underrated show. I must admit episode 1 was a snoozefest, I guess patience is a virtue.
So here's the thing.. As i was using my phone and ofc scrolling up down my playlist was unintentionally clicked and guess what the song that was played... It's the motherfreakin' CAN'T TRANSLATE. A song which I haven't listened for the past months. I'M AN UGLY MESS RN.
Watched raw. And believe me, i already cried understanding nothing just based it on their facial expression/ scenario. Wait i understood some coz Nadao had uploaded some stills with captions from the episode 2. So yeah. And the one from the trailer and teasers Nadie uploaded on YT. I got the gist of ep 2 i think. If you are waiting for subs, prolly dramacool will upload tomorrow.
Ok can someone help me with what exactly the scene where Oh-Aew closed his eyes, counted to 3 and saw nothing…
My thoughts (may not be the best)
We remember the phone call bw Teh and Oh Aew on the day of the stage play, Teh as a stage crew. He was busy and can't go out and meet Oh Aew. Teh thought of an alternate way for them to see each other and that is for Oh to count 10 seconds right after the line " Fix your eyes on the pendulum " was said. We see here Oh closed his eyes as he was counting to "one" and opened his eyes on the count of "ten" there he saw Teh.
At the last part I think Oh Aew was longing for Teh thus redoing that thing but this time he only counted to three. Teh wasn't there. It was like he was wishing that even in imagination he would see Teh, but in reality Teh wasn't there with him too. It was his friends who are with him. Clearly, he was longing for him for they haven't been tgt for a month coz Teh was busy and Oh was understanding despite how lonely he was. And this hit him real hard.
This was a foreshadow actually. And the director explained reusing that scene on the documentary ep 2 to show Oh's loneliness. Try watching the documentary. ^^
i saw people saying ' IT DON'T HAVE THE ITSAY FEEL OR LIKE ITSAY WAS BETTER' i just want to tell all these people…
True. Watch without comparing. Easy. Instead, appreciate all actors, staff and crew's efforts. I mean watch the documentaries. Then you'll realize they aint here to play but to SLAY. Esp the episode 2 docu where in they showed the beach bts and other scenes not to mention their full preparation before the show.
lol
*goes back to Last Twilight in Phuket to refresh*
