I only have one thing to say about the movie: the visuals were so amazing. It one of the first movies I've watched where the cinematography, costumes, backdrop, and CGI were so pretty. Guo Jingming has always been known for having an eye for good visuals, and this movie really showed it. One of the scenes which had my admiration for was one of the scenes in the end. The reflection in Qing Ming's eye of the fighting scene was done so beautifully and there was so much detail in that eye reflection. It was such a pity that it was taken down the theaters in China, but I'm so glad it got an international premiere on Netflix. Really grateful to the production team and the actors for making such a beautiful piece of art!

Just finished watching the first 8 episodes and it wasn't quite what I expected when I first watched the trailer but I really like it so far. It has very humorous conversations between the characters. The connections between the characters don't make sense at all but the humor is there so it doesn't annoy me too much. I'm looking forward to seeing how all the characters meet together at the end

Don't think this drama will ever get aired because of Wu Xiubo and Zhai Tianlin...

There's no way for this drama to get aired ever. Unless Chen Xiang finds a way to redeem himself from his cheating scandal. It's so unfair for the rest of the cast and crew who have to pay for the scandals of the leads

Just finished watching the first season of the drama and I'm really excited for the second season to come out. I really like seeing the interactions of the parents and also the kids in the series. And of course I hope the ship between Fang Yifan and Qiao Yingzi will continue lol

This drama is so adorable!!! Seon Gyeom is such an adorable character. His facial reactions are so on point in here.

Personally, I find this drama really interesting and the short episodes are also really refreshing to watch. I've never really seen any dramas in this style and I like how the scenes jump back and forth between the present and the past. The characters are all really fun, and the mysterious aura makes me want to watch more to learn more about who they are and what past experiences shape who they are.

So the sequel is focused on the same plot and same universe as the first one but with different characters???

hahaha I wanted to ask this question too. Apparently he is listed as one of the leads so I guess he should show up soon. (I'm on ep 8 and I haven't seen him yet)

How is this drama different or similar to the female-friendship centered drama Dear Missy? Currently watching the first episode of this and the first episode is kind of slow so far.

For some weird reason, the plot of the drama doesn't connect with each other. It just seems that it's just random scenes put together. Also, there is no character development or character backstory yet. The casting also seems a bit off. Maybe they could have found a female lead that was a bit younger. I've seen So Ju Yeon in a few other dramas and her roles have all been more mature so it is a bit weird to see her act as an 18-year-old high schooler. As for the male lead, he seems a bit too expressionless or overacts. For example, in the scene when they were at the karaoke, his smiles were too forced, not the subtle smiles that Jiang Cheng/Cha Heon is supposed to have. Overall, I think I might give this drama a few more eps before I decide to drop it since A Love So Beautiful is one of my fav cdramas.
