This is one of the best k- dramas . I see people complaining about how awful the characters are . For one , this is not an idol drama , also character flaws are actually needed to make any character development . Conflicts are necessary, whether internal or external . And this drama does a really good job in that .
Ofcourse this drama has its flaws . The usual korean cliches with the mother . And the unnecessary plotline with the 2fl. Japanese remake executed this plotline really well.
This comment section tricked me. This movie was so and so. This is a good one time watch , nothing spectacular. Felt 20 minutes too long.
The atmosphere and the acting are the only plus points. They both elevated each other . Could have been more daring when it comes to few characters, but the movie chose a safe path.
Also dressing emo or goth doesn't exactly make you a badass character .
Leslie chang is such an icon. His portrayal of Dieyi is mesmerizing . No offence to Jackie Chan but I am really glad he declined the offer . Dieyi and Xu Jian tales are heart breaking.
My complaint is that they should have dedicated the 1st episode showing them being happily married and then divorcing. I didn't feel anything between them in the first 3 episodes .The fl bickering felt like she is annoyed with an incompetent worker rather than a cheater ex husband. I often forget they were ex couples. And the forced comedy didnt help at all.
Please tell me if Chishiya survived at the end !! I finished 3rd episode .So far his character is the only thing I am enjoying aside from naked yamapi ..
This is a good film and it made me cry a few times . But seeing this kinda plot done so many times all I can is a threesome could save a lot of heartache

And the emotional scenes were draggy.
