Has anyone else picked up on how Du-Sik has gradually been "improving" his style to match Hye-Jin? I noticed his style has especially changed in episode 4 compared to episode 1. Which is totally cute! Love how this show has developed and the sweet story-line. It's becoming one of my favorite K-dramas of 2021.
Just a theory, but do you suppose drama writer's make side roles/friends less desirable just to highlight the main leads? I don't really get her role in this story.
I have watched up until episode 14. Here are two of my favorite scenes: 1.) When Lei Yu Zheng is running toward the ship and his face lights up with a smile when he sees Du Xiao Su. This to me was the "it" scene that confirms he is falling in love with her. 2.) When Du Xiao Su is embarrassed to be seen with Lei Yu Zheng at work and they enter an elevator. The elevator suddenly stops and I love how she is holding onto his leg and Lei Yu Zheng shows off this protective side. It's like he's ready to fight this disrespectful elevator, lol.
Also, as much as I love their teasing I think their romance is being created beautifully. They are two grieving souls who just lost the one light in their lives. Instead of grieving alone, they begin to see this mirror of pain in the other person. Which begins a bickering friendship and a safe haven of comfort. They both understand what the other is going through. It's showing us hope, healing, and love.
