ou no way they are going for the terminal illness route😭 i like the drama a lot so far but i really cannot stand stories where a character suffers throughout their life and then dies when happiness is close(in ra mirans case it might be after kangho gets well again and maybe changes his treatment of his mom) but now i don't think she will make it through the drama alive which makes me mad😭 i know this is supposed to be a trigger for her to be a "bad" mom again but i hope she miraculously gets well by the end
finally got time to watch it and i already love it so bad after ep3😭😭😭😭 was already sure dohyuns acting would outdo all his roles in this one but i didn't have many expectations with the revenge plot it surprised me by being rather good! the side characters are also likeable and kanghos character is just so interesting.... dohyun and ra miran are doing amazing so far the food scene made me cry like crazy😭 can't wait to see the rest i hope it continues being this good
I have yet to finish this myself but this comment is simply for people who want to watch it for LDH but are irked by student/teacher dynamics: I won't really talk too much about the plot lol like the other comments say it's objectively mid and not entirely well written(though I love math so I personally loved the parts that talked about it and the scenes dealing with slumps and all, I also think it deserves a 8+ rating if it wasn't for the romance and it focused more on maths than corruption, I really enjoyed some parts in it) but all in all, the plot as it is isn't too special. However, as someone who hates teacher/student plots, this one ended up being less irksome (FOR ME) than I initially feared as she was not interested in him when he was a teen(or at least it's not explicitly stated or implied that she was), i think she genuinely wanted to help him and she also offered ye-lin help but she kept refusing, she didn't groom him or anything and tried to distance herself when she found out he had feelings for her. I agree she should have been more careful and it was a little sus but it could have been so much worse. So I definitely don't recommend watching this for the plot or anything but if you're willing to watch a drama just to see LDH look really good and ride a bike but are worried about teacher/student, it will probably be alright, the romance isn't there till they are both adults, still can be creepy for some people of course but not unwatchable.
i already know this is going to go down as one of dohyun's best performances if not the best, it's his year! I'm so happy for him I hope it's well received at release
plot wise the only two things that i wish were different was 1.dong euns mom being dealt with sooner. i can understand…
oh i totally understand that she wasn't too bothered about it either, she probably would have quit herself later too the job wasn't a concern i just think it was a little ooc because I'd imagine dong eun would catch up and deal with it before it got to that point instead of leaving her mom to her own devices for a while...but it's alright because it was meant to portray her mom as irredeemable
plot wise the only two things that i wish were different was 1.dong euns mom being dealt with sooner. i can understand…
right i think dong eun would be smarter than to just leave her to her own devices like that but at least she got what she deserved later....and yoon sohee? that is the case with her yes and i agree but i guess they do have some base as many things are inspired from real occurences 😭 not to mention it's horrible almost everywhere for women
SO GOOD! i was really afraid they might fumble p2 by not handling it well which is a case with many dramas but…
plot wise the only two things that i wish were different was 1.dong euns mom being dealt with sooner. i can understand why they wanted to bring her in but i feel like dong eun with her wits should have caught on and found a way to deal with her sooner 2. i wish we saw yeonjin being bullied in prison more like i wanted to see her physically suffer as well....but im still satisfied with the ending they chose for all the bullies
SO GOOD! i was really afraid they might fumble p2 by not handling it well which is a case with many dramas but this was amazing from start to finish. the writing being great and the acting being more than satisfactory along with good execution really makes you think it deserves all the hype it got. all the actors were amazing but talking about p2 in particular i really loved how dohyun's character finally got treated like he deserved. i was really disheartened by all the negative comments his character garnered after p1 for no particular reason (as his real role was only established towards the end of p1) and i hope there won't be many people hating him anymore. as always his acting was perfect and i think dong eun and him really deserved the ending they got! yeonjin actress also stood out a lot to me she was crazy good...then again the entire main cast was they deserve all the appreciation they can get
my rating went from 8.5-9 to 7.5 just after ep15 lol what a huge fumble.....at first i didn't agree with people…
redacteds being CCY and JDH like ccy did not deserve to witness that and be traumatized again and JDH himself was once a victim of a problem the plot has been addressing, i think I'd like it so much more if his story was the same MINUS him literally being a murderer(he could have minorly hurt those people or threatened them instead(?)) so he would receive some jail time and therapy and get better lol, the time dedicated to haeyi's mom could have been used to resolve his character a little then and it would be so much better
my rating went from 8.5-9 to 7.5 just after ep15 lol what a huge fumble.....at first i didn't agree with people who kept saying they wish this didn't have crime aspects because i thought it didn't take up too much time and added a little twist, but the way they dealt with it was so horrible, it was already a solid drama just with the rom-com and the education system plot and it should have stayed that way....the crime part was predictable badly executed and left me very unsatisfied....if they were going to do it they should have either wrapped it up well or added a twist so that both REDACTED and REDACTED's characters didn't get such a horrible treatment
getting the ending spoiled when i was less than midway through this drama made it so hard to watch for me like i have to stop midway in eps or after an ep for a bit because I get so sad help....i guess it's not just the ending too like the events that occur are really depressing as well...but i also love it so much i started it for ldh and hes soo amazing in this seeing hee tae sad breaks my heart everytime hes too good...i think all the actors esp him acted so well..also the story and everything is just beautiful i cannot think of not finishing it even though im afraid knowing it's going to get even sadder...a very bittersweet experience and i still have 3 eps left
so i guess it's almost confirmed that assistant ji is the dead girls brother now....wonder if hes the killer like everybody thought too or there will be a plot twist for that
Dong Hui I think is the brother, but not the killer. I don't want him to be the killer, either--and I actually…
i feel exactly the same! i want him to be the brother it would be so cute if he admires and protects him but he should not be the killer and there should be a plot twist for that because if it's him it's getting predictable already and we are only halfway in the drama
till last week I really did think ji dong hui is the dead girls brother/killer but after this week i feel like the "it's a little obvious to be true" is starting to apply to him as well along with sun jae's brother because everytime something happens it's always after chiyeol mentions the person to him....once or twice is foreshadowing but now it's getting a little obvious...maybe it's me coping because i dont want him to be the killer but there's also another cast member we have not seen yet so im hoping for a plot twist
Yeah I have a feeling it might be him but I could be wrong. 🤣 I don’t want it to be true either so I’ll…
yes i dont mind if he is the brother since that would be a little wholesome but I really dont want him to be the killer and have a bad ending(but it unfortunately looks like the killer might be the brother after all) lets wait and see😭
