Loved the article. Grew up watching Bollywood /Indian movies and dramas too..lol. Still watch movies if they interest me but have stopped watching drama. Lovely article.
Just hoping and praying they dont ruin it because so far its bloody awesome on every level. Its dealing with Mental health from every point of view. Its showing us thats its Okay to Not be Okay. Seo Ye Ji, Kim Soo Hyun & Oh Jung Se are doing complete and total justice to their respective role by showing us the complexcity of their respective characters. Hats off to the writers, directors , actors, the whole Team for this beautifuly brilliant drama.
Good thing: 1) The leads (their chemistry is no joke of cuz, and ive love them in the eternal love)2) Grandmother:…
Yes its lije the writers, directors forgot about Nainai. After the 24th epi, they started dragging the story slotcsith useless stuff and especially too much of Anna that was realky not needed. Sigh a beautiful story got ruined due to it. The Taiwanese version was giid in this completely agree. I saw on Yputube they deleted alot of scenes like theproposal, etc from the show just to fit Anna's story.
This version gave us more drama, angst and frustration than the feeling of destiny and love. I watched only because…
Agree with everything you have said. They truly ruined the ending and gave us to much of Anba playing the victim with her sad face and manipulativness. They truly should have shown more of the leads being romantic and definitely habing babies.
FIRST OF ALL, HOW HOW HOW can you NOT have the main couple getting pregnant again in the ending?!!?!?! That is…
They ruined Dylan in this version, Anna was the Worst Anna ever with no remorse or redemption for her mistakes, the ending was so bloody rushed and unsatisfying, the whole second part just had to much of Anna and her unnecessary drama that was so not needed and ruined the episodes and us viewers joy. They could have done without Anna and showed more of our leads and their story and a better ending with proposal, wedding and future kids.
Good thing: 1) The leads (their chemistry is no joke of cuz, and ive love them in the eternal love)2) Grandmother:…
Agree with your Rant, they had the potential to make this a good version as I love the Taiwanese one loads, didn't like the Korean, dropped the Thai after few epis and never watched the Japanese one.
1. Like you loved Nainai, she played a major role in this version playing a part in our FL character development. 2. Loved the aunt and her son and how they warmed up to the FL and loved her giving it to Anna. 3. Loved loved Jaixin's mom loads. 4. Loved loved the communication/conversations that were happening in this remake. 5. Loved that she had a best friend. 6. Loved that she got into pottery making etc before she left etc.
1. It really all started going down hill after the accident scene. The scene had no impact what so ever as the Original one did. 2. Then they wasted a lot of time on Anna with the whole Amnesia bit and than in the second half. She was the worst worst Anna ever from any version and the most irritating and annoying part was that she was easily forgiven for her evil deeds just by apologizing by sending an SMS....like WTF??!!!!! Like really that's it????!!! Hate this trend that's so prevalent in every other Modern/Contemporary Chinese drama where the Evil person is easily forgiven and goes scout free to have a happy ending and remain friends with the person harmed. 3. Too much dragging of the story, thus leaving them with less epis to work with, so the whole ending was unsatisfying and felt rushed.
Some of the part towards the ending was not realistic, how can you be so forgiving towards someone that has made…
I know what you mean. It was so unrealistic that Anna's evil and harmful deed was so easily forgiven. Its damn irritating really how all these Modern/Contemporary Chinese dramas have the wicked easily forgiven, their evil deeds easily looked over or brushed under the carpet and given happy endings. It leaves us viewers feeling like WTF , like really, that's it???!!!!!!
Agree with all that you said. The whole accident scene lost its impact with the slow motion the different angles…
I think in the other versions the ML were always cruel insensitive jerks from beginning, thus their behaviour we hated but it did not irritate us as Xiyi's did because he was so different from all those other versions, he was less cruel. more understanding etc thus him spending time with Anna at their love shack pissed the hell out of us all.
Can anyone spoil me with the reason of her miscarriage here ? Like in the Korean version it was really stupid…
Reason for miscarriage here is all rights as mother to be taken away from Jiaxin, no visiting rights etc immediate divorce on birth and on the case of miscarriage due to any reason, immediate termination of marriage etc. She ran because she was scared of her child been taken away and felt Xiyi was cursing her child with the miscarriage clause.
I have a feeling that they want this lighter than the original version.
Being Rated PG 13+ was not surprised they went light on it. Its an Idol drama thus too much reality is glossed over like a pregnant tummy or the blood in an accident or miscarriage.
