Happy ending?
She waits for him to comeback and he does after studying abroad. I think them meeting in the end implied happy ending.

Watched the first two epis and loved it so far. The story seems interesting and Leo Luo looks divine. The action scenes are really well choreographed. CGI is not bad either.

The Untamed a masterpiece indeed in every form be it the Anime, the Novel, the Manga, or be it the drama.

A truly beautifully written article, that showed that The Untamed is so much more than just being Wuxia, or fantasy, supernatural, etc., etc. It was about some many things, like Family, Friendships, Brotherhood, Love in its every form, Redemption, Forgiveness. Acceptance etc

I really hope that after reading your article more people would give it a try overriding their preconceived notions about it being adapted from a Bl novel, because it was more than it being just BL, or it being Wuxia, or it being Chinese drama and the language irritates them as they are used to Korean dramas only, etc etc.

Oh and completely agree with @Estelll, give the Novel a try you truly wont be disappointed, even the Manga and Anime is beautiful.

The show finished airing for the VIPs on the main channel. No it does not get better at all, it didn't for me.
I dropped it too. It was a disappointment.

My Roommate is a Detective, for me started off as being interesting, but then just started going down hill.

On of the best things about the show other than the OST which is bloody awesome, was Hu Yi Tian's acting, here he got to portray and play a completely different character then all the other similar roles he got. This show got him proving and showing off his acting skills.

Leon Zhang character seemed promising (smile and abs to die for), but then it remained stagnant with hardly any thing to do. He was more like a baby sitter for the bosses daughter, or our hero the future son- in-law. He seemed like a third wheel and an extra character suddenly.

The FL just didn't grow on me. Her antics sometimes seemed more childish and annoying overtime episode after episode. Some epis made me think oh she has brains, maturity, but the next scene, annoying self again. Her I have eyes and ears all over, was all due to her father's men, her tagging along with the police was all due to her father too, as QC was her fathers man. She hated her father but didn't mind using his people for her own, so were was the independence other than her living with a man in that time. The romance seemed so forced and was pushed on us all off a sudden.

The writing was very very sloppy the cases were elementary and easy to guess. Over all an enjoyable show just became boring for me. It would have been good with better writing off all the characters, mystery, etc.

Your recommendations are 100 times way way better than this show. Loved all three of those shows, which has great characters, acting, direction and writing.

Title Skate Into Love Spoiler
Watched epi 33 and i felt like slaping Tang Xue for her behaviour and her a ting like shes the victim snd he should just trust her always standing him up without even a phone call or message. If I was Yubin I would have broken up sith her after being stood up the second time. Sigh just fustrated with the whole unecessary drama and the drag.

One of the best Taiwanese dramas. It had an excellent or one can say brilliantly written script, screenplay, story, amazing actors and really great directing too. The whole production was awesome and hats off to them fro delivering such an amazing story.

Lovely article and great casting too.

I personally do not mind remakes if they are done brilliantly, but Kdramas do love to butcher stories when they remake dramas, few examples, "Your My Destiny or Fated to Love You", "The Great Seducer" claimed to be a remake of "Cruel Intentions", than there was "The Smile has Left Your Eyes" a remake of the awesome Japanese drama "One Million Stars Falling from the Sky" , or "The Liar and his Lover", or "To The Beautiful You", to name a few. Thus would prefer the Kdrama never remaking it. The original is great watch on its own.

12 epis in and it keeps getting better and better. Loving loving the 3 ML's and the chemistry they share, their relationship with one another and awesome acting by all the three. Tang Fan, Wang Xi and Sui Zhou all are just awesome and brilliant and intelligent. All three actors are bloody awesome in their respective roles portraying them beautifully and brilliantly. Oh and loving loving little Dong, shes too cute, super intelligent and the young actress is doing an amazing job acting her role.

Here's another one this C drama season that's drawn very loosely from the Sherlock Holmes template. :D As far…
Completely agree with you and the female lead and her antics are just off putting. Why couldn't they give her a better character / personality or even brains.

Are you watching "The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty" thats another great mystery drama and its better than this with 3 ML's and no stupid female character.
