What an episode. The best part the Poem and how Yi Seo gave Hyun Hi the encouragement she needed to not run away and face every thing head on. Loved the whoke scene with Hyun Hi entering with the Poem in the background and not shying away from announcing bravely that she's a Transgender. You go girl!!! What a slap to all those shitty people there and especially to Geun Soo.
Oh the second best part how easily Yi Seo said "I Love You" to Sae Ro Yi over the phone and his reaction to being told that was priceless.
0ne of the best Korean drama right now. Great writing, directing production and awesome acting by each and every one, but Kim Mi Da as Yi Seo is mind blowingly awesome and just brilliant and perfect in protraying her character. She rocks each and every epi. Her first drama and loving her. Park Seo Joon is awesome as always. Loving him as Sae Ro Yi. A much different role than all his others. Another is Ahn Bo Hyun as Geun Won and he truly surprised me with this role. Yoo Jae Myung no surprise, as he's a brilliant actor.
Love how this show is dealing with the issues so prevelant in society these days, like ex-convicts, transgenders, bullying, racism, etc.
Yi Seo Ri rocked the epi obce again. I like how she gave it to senior Jang in his own seminar and then at their private meeting.
I love how she's not afraid to voice her opinion to Sae Ro Yi even though she loves him like crazy (her words).
I love how she caught Geun Won confessing to being the culprit of the accident and some one else taking the blame, but what takes the cake was her throwing that hot coffee on him.
Oh Geun Soo am so proud of you standing up to your bully of a brother and standing up against Sae Ro Yi for his rights and Yi Seo's rights aa shareholder of DanBam, and also for standing up for Yi Seo and point blank asking Sae Ro Yi what she means to him. Loved the whole scene.
Bravo to the cop for doing the right thing this time and not being pressured by threats. He gave a really great reply to CEO Jang.
Soo Ah still indecisive even after repeated declaration of love by Sae Ro Yi, still a coward, still selfish, still.....sigh wanting love, respect, happiness, without working or doing anything for it.
Can someone suggest some more drama with female lead like jo yi seo.
Strong FL 1. Because this is my first Life 2. The Beauty Inside 3. Whats Wrong with Secetary Kim? 4. Hibiki 5. Witch Majority og Jdramas and Chinese have strong FL.
guys, I haven't quite made my mind yet about this drama, should I watch it? Is it worth the hype? I'm still recovering…
If you are looking for fluff, romance than this isnt it. If you sre looking for something different then this is bloody awesome. This drama is about revenge, about ones outlook on life, its about life, its about changing oneself, etc.
Kim Mi Da brought me here to watch this movie and loved it. The action scenes were beautifully choreographed and superb acting by all, but Kim Mi Da was bloody awesome.
Can't wait to see part 2 soon. What an ending to this part.
"I'm trying to be nice to you when you're just a headache because I want to stay by his side. So don't stand in…
Ditto, she's the character that shows the most development but some people just want to see what they want to see without really understanding the story or character....sigh. Am surprised with all the hate she's getting when she's the best character in the whole show.
"I'm trying to be nice to you when you're just a headache because I want to stay by his side. So don't stand in…
I love her too and really don't understand the hate she's getting. It'some they aren't watching the same show or seeing or understanding the character at all.
What she did so you think she is sly and fake? Because I see a very direct person . Even with her wrongdoings…
She was the one who hired Toni. She has no problem with him being black, foreigner, etc. She just does not accept he's Korean on his words only without proof. She was ready to apologise for hurting his feelings and the first one to lend a hand in finding his father so that he can officially become a Korean citizen.
What's wrong with her wanting to change because of Sae Ro Yi??? In epi 7 she confirmed that what she feels for Sae Ro Yi is indeed love. He is the first person that she trustee, made her even go against her mother and follow her own heart for the first time ever. He's tbecfirst person she could empathise for and the first person she's willing to Change for and understand others POV.
Geun Soo also is with Sae Ro Yi because he found someone to lean on, be a father, brother an adult figurein his life. As for her attitude with Geun Soo she told him honestly her feelings without keeping him hanging or giving him false hope about her fringe changing good him. Geun loves her as she is accepting her personality.
The only time she had an issue with Hyun Yi being Transgender was for the Pub and them losing customers because of it and it had nothing to do with her personal feelings as she was the first to call Hyun Yi 'uuni aka sis' and accepting her as a female.
She has no issues with Toni being black she readily hired him, what she has an issues with is accepting him as a Korean citizen without any document or identification claiming so. Thus telling him she will help him find his father so that he can officially become a Korean citizen.
People that are already hating on Yi seo she’s very smart but very rude the thing is there is a pattern though…
Exactly she was raised so by her mother to be selfish, self centered and do everything to win for herself. She is welling to apologise, learn, change and trying to understand things, people etc.
I really like yi-seo, she's cool and clearly has a passion for running a business beyond liking PSR, but I think…
I think majority Asians be it Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, Thai, etc won't readily accept an African saying He/She is so and so without it being a surprise, or without personally knowing the said person or Some one you know introducing them as being of that nationality. She's like that, that's her personality she can't readily accept at face value on his saying so as they are not close or even friends. Thus love how she tells him she will help him find his father so that he can officially be a Korean citizen.
Finished watching epi 7 & 8 and loved it. Loved the back story and what I loved most was the scene in the end between Yi Seo and Sae Ro Yi where she cried after seeing those scares, and understood the harshness of the life he lead and realised how alone he was through all of it . Loved how she confirmed that what she feels for him is really Love. These two are perfect for each other, he is changing her for the better by making her realise the importance of friendship, loyalty, comraderi, acceptance, tolerance etc. He is the first person she emphatised for and cried for.
Oh and her crying for him touched him as he never had someone care for him or feel for his life like she did at that moment. The vulnerability on his face..awww.
Many people are like she's mean, cruel, rude, etc etc, but then she is like that, she was introduced as a sociopath and a very blunt, straight forward and in your face kind of character. Her mother raised her to be such too.
She had issues with Hyun Yi's cooking more then her being a transgender (the only reason she was bothered with the transgender issue was for the pub itself than yit being a personal thing) and loved how PSY made her accept her hard work and loved how she was the first person to refer to Hyun Yi as 'sister' and recognise her as female.
With Toni she has no problem with the colour of his skin it's more with her accepting him as Korean. Yes she hurt him with not readily accepting his words that he's Korean but than how many of us Asian will readily accept an African saying he's Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Thai, etc readily without knowing them personally. She's the first one to appologise and say she will help him find his father so that he can officially become a Korean citizen.
As for her attitude with Geun Soo, he knows her and she knows him. She's is honest with her feelings for him and tells him as it is, without making him hang on a thread like Soo Ah has been doing that for years to PSY by accepting his loving /liking her without clearly stating if she likes or even loves him back. Thus prefer her attitude towards this than Soo Ah.
Loving how this show is dealing with so many issues like transgender, racialism, ex-convict, corruption, bullying, society as a whole.
