I have watched the first episode with and without subtitles and I must say that I'm a little underwhelmed. I'll keep watching the next episodes though. Maybe it gets better....there's definitely room for more. (My opinion!)

One possibility would be mid May, after Serenade of peaceful joy ends...but that is -as always- only a guess (that would make sense).

Yes, yes, oh yay! Good news, people!
Sooo, there is gonna be a book (which is already available for pre-order and will be released on April 17th). And the producer mentioned to pay veeeeery close attention ("The book is here, the play is on its' way...").
So I'm predicting either the end of April or some time in May for the drama to start airing. HOPEFULLY!

The director has once again mentioned (on his weibo) for everyone to wait together. And that the wait is over shortly...

The drama was produced when Xiao Zhan wasn't even a thing. And I find it unfair that it's now all about Xiao Zhan. Darren Wang somehow disappears behind him. And that's quite sad. (Another vote for Darren Wang and Li Qin from me)

This might be a hint or it might be purely coincidental: The producer/director (don't know what role she has...) posted a picture of a wolf on her instagram.

Let's hope for the best. Sigh.

edit: Daaaang! Even "Held in the Lonely Castle" starts airing next week. -_-

There still is that rumor that Tencent will be broadcasting the Drama. As some of you might know, Tencent is currently broadcasting the HUGELY POPULAR "Pillow Book" which will end on March 5.
Well, I don't know if the slot the 'Pillow Book' leaves behind is already filled but it would make sense if they start broadcasting "The Wolf" after that. It might catch some of the popularity the pillow book left behind...
