TRIGGER WARNING FOR EP. 7: This Episode deals with eating disorders (bulimia). Please watch carefully (or better not at all if this triggers you). Be safe! 🙏
Ryung Goo‘s mother killed herself. It is said that Joon Gil had a similar fate. So I suspect that a loved one of his killed themselves as well (which would explain his standpoint towards su*c*de). But as of now, I don‘t know who it was - maybe they are changing the plot for the drama and they really make KR and PJG lovers. Would make sense because PJG doesn‘t appear much more often in the webtoon…and i would honestly start to Wonder why they credit LSH as a main lead.
The good thing: We still have 10 more episodes to go. I‘ll stay hopeful. ☺️
Edit: Maybe you already know but PJG and KR were no lovers in the webtoon.
Oh. Anti-Spoiler here.😅 AsianWiki changed the potential love interest (Child actor) of Koo Ryeon. Apparently Park Sang Hoon is „Mystery Boy“ now (and not PJG anymore). Don‘t know whether I should laugh or cry.🤯
Not looking forward to the next episodes. If they stick to the webtoon, LSH/ Park Joong Gil makes only a small appearance. I am really starting to wonder why he was listed as a main character. Meh. 😐
He definitely has some feelings for her. When Ryung Goo appeared to stop Joong Gil from taking 'the wife' (forgot…
Well, the feeling doesn't necessarily need to be love. I think it's affection or sympathy (because of a shared past maybe).
My (crude) theories: I think he despises people who kill themselves because a loved one of his killed himself as well. In the webtoon we get to know that Koo Ryeon killed herself after her son died. (Maybe he was her son in a former life - as was stated in today's episode, people stay connected through the red thread. But as she killed herself, that connection was broken. Maybe he is the only one who remembers....)
And yes, I am almost convinced that he will use the favor from Koo Ryeon for something good. Because deep down, he is not a bad guy. Just very, very hurt.
I enjoy this drama but im not that excited for next episodes. I'd like to know more about Joong Gil's and Goo…
He definitely has some feelings for her. When Ryung Goo appeared to stop Joong Gil from taking 'the wife' (forgot her name) to the afterlife, he spoke about her informally, like he cares about her somehow. I have read the Korean version of the webtoon, so I have some theories about the kind of relation they share...
Why aren't the reapers able to teleport in front of security cameras ( which could record them) - but Kang Woo Jin isn't able to see the three of the Escort Team at the Hospital when they come to 'take' his wife? That doesn't make sense to me. Are there terms to (in-) visibility? Has this been explained in the past episodes? Did I miss something? 😅
Ep3 was so good. I can totally relate myself to Jae Soo. This show I expected only to be some grim reaper shit…
I really do hope that they will use some of the 'cases' that appear in the webtoon. These aren't only about the lives of young people but the elderly population as well.
