I have the smallest hope that it might start broadcasting on August 25th. Because it's Qixi (the Chinese Valentine's day), the 7th day of the 7th month in the Chinese calendar. As always, this is a guess, not a fact.

It seems so unreal. I want to believe that it starts airing tomorrow but after so many disappointments I'm really reluctant to believe anything.

Me too. Also did that with The Wolf....I'm not exactly pleased with the way it ends but it's better than certain other scenarios imho.

come on....Isn't this a web drama.... isn't subject to too much restrictions...
There are many restrictions actually. The whole drama had to go through the censorship procedure twice actually and due to failing the first time they had to re-shoot scenes.
And as it might be simultaneoulsy broadcasted on TV , a good spot in the broadcasting schedule has to be found as well.

I have read the last chapters. I do this with every book I read. Just to be safe that (I spent so much time reading and growing to love the characters ) I won't end up heartbroken. I'll only spoil if you give me expressive permission. :)

Sure! I got to chapter 7 and hit a paywall. I'm still figuring out how to pay for this, given the fact that I don't speak Chinese or have access to Chinese payment options.
But: I'm hooked. I really like the story until now. It's definitely not for the faint of heart.^^
