come on....Isn't this a web drama.... isn't subject to too much restrictions...
There are many restrictions actually. The whole drama had to go through the censorship procedure twice actually and due to failing the first time they had to re-shoot scenes. And as it might be simultaneoulsy broadcasted on TV , a good spot in the broadcasting schedule has to be found as well.
Great! Can you come back and tell me if it has a happy ending or not after finishing it? I really hope Li Qin…
I have read the last chapters. I do this with every book I read. Just to be safe that (I spent so much time reading and growing to love the characters ) I won't end up heartbroken. I'll only spoil if you give me expressive permission. :)

Sure! I got to chapter 7 and hit a paywall. I'm still figuring out how to pay for this, given the fact that I don't speak Chinese or have access to Chinese payment options. But: I'm hooked. I really like the story until now. It's definitely not for the faint of heart.^^
Yes, yes, oh yay!!! While I can't offer you news on a broadcasting date, I am pleased to announce that I have found the webnovel online (only in Chinese, of course). :-D
I'm going to try my luck reading while using Google translate. I hope the translation isn't as awful as I expect it to be.
I don't think that the web broadcast is the problem here. Either the censorship board of the government is still blocking the drama because they think it doesn't match their regualtions yet or the TV (offline :D) broadcasting stations because there isn't a (prime time) slot where the Wolf could air. And as they want it to be an online AND offline drama (which should air simultaneously^^) it's actually difficult to predict when it starts airing...
I definitely shouldn't have watched the intro on Youtube. Now I'm obsessing as much over it as I did with the trailer two years ago. Meh. -_-
But: There were scenes in the intro that I have definitely seen before (scenes that were NOT in the trailer). An example would be Darren in chains. They were in a YT video I watched about a year ago (the video has unfortunately been removed- understandably). And yes, I could kick myself that I didn't pay better attention to what was happening.
(I still can remember the hype about the drama airing from July 27th, 2019. Now it's almost a year later and it still hasn't aired. Anyone of you still around or did everyone give up on the drama?)

And yes, I managed to create an account and load money onto it. So it'll be a happy reading weekend for me. :D
