i understand your intention but no one rates this show high because they love the actors, they love these actors because this show was great. this was geminifourth's first show as a cp and the only reason that this is so beloved is the quality of it. if you want a comparison you can check the mlmu page, it's also a gemfourth show but people really did not like it at all so it has lower ratings, tho i still think it's got higher ratings than it deserves but oh well

i completely agree with you. as much as i love the jp version this definitely surpasses it imo! i think it’s because they probably had a higher budget. idk if you’ve read the manga or seen the anime but kurosawa and adachi definitely have a lot more depth in those versions
