Shen Wen Lang's explanation can make sense, but not Hua Yong's - in a dialogue with Shen didn't he say if Sheng decides to permanently mark him, he would let him and stay an obedient omega besides him? He had no reason to lie to Shen in that regard, so no matter how you look at it his behaviour is inconsistent. He's a lunatic, yes, but they're plot holes in his motivations and character. It's aactually the same with Shen - why is he rasist towards omegas anyway? The writing isn't great in this show, although I love the cast

It's also funny how omegaverse fans usually complain that no one gives this genre a chance, but when people actually do and express their opinions, they gang up with the same old "then skip it, don't watch" - why can't you all handle constructive criticism? Most of people who comnent here like the show, since they stuck around till episode 9. But seems like common sense is not so common.

I understand it's a different genre and allegedly rut gets triggered by pheromones when there's high compatibility, but what appals me is that none of assaulters felt sorry afterwards - even if heat/rut have animal origins, where did their human conscience go when they returned to their sense? Even if rape is supposed to he something "natural" in omegaverse since people "lose control" (tbh I have no idea if this's the correct representation of omegaverse), them not feeling sorry afterwards is a choice.

And on another note, Hua Yong looks crazy atp, why did he traumatize Sheng with that note? He raped him and then traumatized hin even more with alleged sacrifice. On one hand he worked hard to save his father, and doesn't even expect any appreciation, but on the other hand he makes him feel really bad, thinking he's being sexually assaulted for the second time by Shen. This's inconsistent character development, there's no logic to his lunacy

I actually liked the actors, I think they just delivered exactly what the director asked them too. It's just the plot was like a teenager's fantasy with wall slsmming and stuff 😅

Same, I felt my braincells dying when I watched it, had to drop it. That show is like a fantasy of a bl lover, and not in a good way

People rave about Revenged love, where there was gang rape in ep 1, and manhadling each episode without any respect, and nitpick about this show - make it make sense. They have a bond, they have been together for years, and the only reason Tuo was acting out in the first episodes is to cross the line and make Jun Xi even consider seeing him in a new light - he also confessed properly quite soon and asked to become boyfriends. And their first time was anyrhing but totally consensual - you may not like the series, but you have to make sense in your arguments

Look, the scene itself didn't even contain a kiss, and as Oh noted why would you kiss..your director for a workshop? He yearned for Jay and kissed him because he wanted to, not because of some "exercise" - that's clear, and that's cheating. Simple.

People that defend Teh seem to ignore this fact. If Oh witnessed that scene he would be heartbroken. Btw you forgot "spoiler tag", apply it - don't kill the fun for others.

Yeah, except Oh's tattoo was...Teh himself? And he wasn't homesick etc. I'm not saying he's a villain, but you seem to try too hard to understand him. Some things are simpler: Teh was always egocentric, and Oh always loved Teh more than he loved himself - that's why they seem to "complete" each other.

A unique way to gaslight yourself. Even Teh himself knew exactly what he did (at least after the fact), he doesn't need defending 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm confused, comments under Kiseki Chapter 2 say that show has nothing to do with this one. Am I not sypposed to watch the prequel first, and then this show?

Could you compare it with some other gore show? I'm so intrigued by the show, but want to know what I'm getting into. Are there jumpscare elements too?

Ikr, there're so many dark shows with heavy themes, and you know what you sign up for. Tbh the opening scenes were so moody that I expected something heavy, for whole 2 episodes I thought there might be some develooment in that direction. By ep 3 I realized that it was just bad writing, but by that time I was hooked by actors and didn't drop the show.

@delena666 Thanks, I won't attempt reading the book. I knew they followed the source material, but it just shows bad writing. There should be coherency in tone and theme. If not for that scene out of the blue, the series would be just funny, light, with second hand embarassement (but that's fine, it's still entertaining)

Exactly, so uncalled. I know it follows the source material, but it doesn't serve the tone of the show, or its theme. I kean the show is funny, the chemistry is great, but it's on "entertaining" side of things, you can't dip into SA and then go on to have fun and games
