As someone who's watching Takumi-kun for the first time, I remain confused and solely interested in the sides lol.

I love that in a show about teenagers we're getting to see so many different types of parents. From Nut's awful dad and mom who let's it happen, Chai's mom who's just trying to keep afloat and Win's dad who knows when his son needs to talk or to be left alone. I know everyone loves Ek's parents, but to me they seem kind of immature, they're so fast to judge and only seem to calm down when their son asks them to, it's like they're watching life through his eyes, instead of seeing life as a bigger picture. Anyway, I know who I'd prefer to grow up with lol.

Oh I imagine they do it with all series, just like the Thai series take a break during Songkran, and most countries stop airing during Lunar New Year.

I know, but the whole team in front and behind of the camera are still Chinese, and I don't imagine that on top of making a bl they'd want to be seen as disrespectful too.

You're thinking of this from a logical standpoint, but you have to remember that people rarely live their lives logically. Getting married and expecting to only love that person for the rest of your life isn't logical either, for example.
