Dont waste your time to watch this
"Medical Examiner Dr. Qin" disappoints with its final case, a ludicrous plotline that renders the entire episode pointless. Despite promising comedy early on, the series quickly loses steam, offering tedious and uninspiring cases. Don't bother watching for Zhang Ruo Yun or Li Xian's acting; it's simply not worth your time. The existence of a second season is truly surprising. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one altogether. The lack of character development and repetitive nature of the cases make it hard to invest in the show, leaving viewers feeling unsatisfied and unengaged. It's a regrettable waste of potential. Was this review helpful to you?

The ending a bit disappointing as it focused heavily on setting up the 2nd season.
Worth watching overall, but ultimately I was quite let down by the conclusion. It felt rather disappointing because it concentrated excessively on constructing a possible second season instead of delivering genuine closure. A television series should reward its audience with a fully developed, satisfying narrative within the current season. Depending too much on uncertain future seasons undermines the existing effort and feels inconsiderate toward loyal viewers who invested their valuable time, trust, and emotions. Please provide a proper conclusion, not merely a vague setup. Was this review helpful to you?

A Shallow Storyline with Excessive Dragging
A Shallow Storyline with Excessive DraggingI have watched Ma Boyong twice, first in Luoyang and then in Chang'an.
I've never quite understood why his movies receive such high ratings. For me, the storyline feels shallow and drawn out, lacking in interest. The plot is overly complicated yet predictable, with too much unnecessary dialogue and drama. Perhaps Ma Boyong would do better to focus on shorter stories that are more engaging, rather than investing time and resources in lengthy endeavors.

A Poor Imitation of Frequency and The Godfather II
I started this K-drama because of its surprisingly high rating (8.9). Unfortunately, from the very first episode, it felt overly dragging (should be cut to 4 to 5 eps) and frustrating to watch—easily ranking among the worst K-dramas I’ve seen. It seems to attempt to imitate Frequency (2000), which was an excellent film, but fails miserably in comparison. The show also borrows from The Godfather II’s storytelling style of switching between past and present events, but instead of being engaging, it only makes the plot more confusing. The acting of the main casts is totally bad especially Cho Jin Woong, Kim Hye Soo & Lee Je Hoon.
Honestly, it’s not worth your time.
