Hey! I actually really want to find out the answer behind the sonogram too...this is by no means the correct answer…
Thank you so much for taking your time to clear this up for me!!! It was an interesting movie yet a lot of things definitely had me confused. I'll take your advice regarding the manga! I haven't read mangas in ages but am a pretty avid webtoon reader at the moment haha.

Oh wow thanks for all your insight! (Especially how you mentioned what happened in the manga that the movie left out lol). I started reading a few chapters of the manga just to compare with the movie. Would you recommend it? I like your theories! I actually didn't realize that it was pointing at one of the characters being the illegitimate child! Btw would you be able to clear up the part where Azusa looks at a photo of his family of 4 (including the dad, mom, kid and him?) I was confused at that part as well!
Been following Hiroya since his debut! Intensely talented young actor of Japan...is it just me who feels like he deserves more main roles?! He can put off dark, mature movies but also has the looks and heights of a ML in a manga adaptation! Excited to see him take more main roles soon!
Can someone please tell me who the baby on the sonogram is...? Or is it just a baby and none of the characters.…
Hey! I actually really want to find out the answer behind the sonogram too...this is by no means the correct answer but what I got from it: Azusa hurt Hatsumi cause he thought the affair was between his mom and her dad (the affair resulted in his mom getting pregnant and going 'crazy' cause the guy eventually left her - also caused Azusa's own family to fall apart). This part gets confusing but apparently to get some money for IVF? treatments, Hatsumi's dad let his name be used when Azusa was looking into the matter (who gave his name out makes no sense to me but whatever). Then later on in the movie, Ryoki who perhaps was suspicious of his father looked into it and finds out that indeed it was his dad who was part of the affair (the picture of the baby I believe is the child between Ryoki's dad and Azusa's mom - Ryoki confirms it is his dad by the interesting writing style he shares with him). From here on I don't get why the FL got so upset and 'ended' her relationship with him (her running off to her bro was really weird) but I guess he felt bad that she got pulled into the mess with Azusa cause of him and also felt sorry for himself that his father messed up his family too (which apparently got him wanting to create a family with Hatsumi...). Not totally sure if this is correct! Let me know what you guys think!
My thoughts and mini review! Just watched this last night with my sis for Shimizu Hiroya and Itagaki Mizuki...although they both did great I got to say I'm a bit scared of Itagaki due to how crazy 'Azusa' was! All the characters were twisted but I don't regret watching it since Shimizu's captivating acting was phenomenal as always. The filming style was interesting...my favourite scenes were the evening night sky scenes with the ML and FL. Their lines along with the camera movement was delivered pretty well and artsy. I was pretty grossed out by both Azusa and her brother (although at least he saved her at THAT part). I get that Azusa was messed up due to his fam but what he was thinking of doing and what he ended up doing to the FL was insanely detestable. The way she interacts with him after makes no sense but I guess there are a lot of things that don't make sense in this movie lol. Like the comment below I'm also wondering why she reacted that way to the sonogram that the ML showed her. Was it just a photo of the child between ML dad and Azusa's mom and she felt betrayed cause at first her Dad got blamed for the affair which fueled Azusa's hurtful actions? Someone let me know please! Overall the movie was a mess (oh my gosh ALL the wrong decisions the FL made lol...and she kept going in circles!), I would only recommend you check it out if you're bored, are sick of the lovey-dovey shoujo romance movies, like artsy and interesting filming style, are a fan of Shimizu Hiroya and are used to his 'dark' movies (trust me Itagaki fans...you'll want to skip this one) and is comfortable with more 'adult' themes and words being thrown around. If you watch it without any expectations (and I mean ANY), you might find certain parts of the movie interesting.
usually not one to watch dramas like these, but what a rollercoaster! i got obsessed with it on the way and now i feel empty that it over...kenshi's portrayal of akira was brilliant!
Hands down, favourite Chinese actor. Apart from his perfect visuals, the dedication and respect he has for his roles and acting is inspiring ♥ loved his portrayal of Ruo Bai in The Whirlwind Girl and enjoying how hot he is while playing Kylin Zhang in The Lost Tomb!
Wow great article! I would add some of the younger male leads; Reply guys; Yoon Yoonjae (really sweet bff), Kim Junghwan (my personal fave), Choi Taek (sweet), School 2015 Han Yi Ahn (I know nobody really likes him but I do! I thought he was really sweet) and not done yet but I'm pretty sure Page Turner Jeong Chashik is going to make the list for me :)
The way this is directed is simply breathtaking...I'm so excited that Song Joongki chose this as his comeback drama! He fits the character so well and omg the way he looks at her...AHHH! lol. Can't wait for the next episode, so far I'm really impressed with where it's going...the two have such amazing chemistry already.
This drama is freakin' amazing. I'm usually one that gets bored of dramas easily but I find myself counting the days until the next episode arrives. I can't believe what has ensued in episode 12...the goosebumps I got when Lee Jaehan found out that every single person involved in the Injoo case is aware that they are putting the blame on one defenseless, poor innocent boy. I seriously hate how everyone says, "if it wasn't me, someone else would be paid off!" It's mindsets like these that allows this sort of injustice in our world today. Lee Jaehan's so-called BFF should open up already. I don't even know how he lived this many years knowing he ruined so many lives...all of them just think that if it's not them that started the whole initial set-up or the one who 'pulls the trigger' then they aren't held responsible, but actually all of them partook in the death and pain of all those involved. I know this is probably a lot to ask for but I seriously hope that Lee Jaehan gets to live (and hopefully gets together with Cha Soohyun ^^) because such a hardworking and justice-seeking detective just can't have such a depressing ending :(
i just watched it ;) it's more creepy/jumpy scary than horror scary. but there is a supernatural theme to it! the first half was scary and the second half was more about solving the mystery~
