Please recommend me more series from China like this. The only one that comes to mind is Strange Tales Of Tang Dynasty (loved it). I like this style of production.

I find her decent but China has more talent that that.

Female lead is a professional in the field of psychology/psychiatry but why is it common in C-dramas to make women look like they have no idea of anything other than "causing trouble" 😅 Why?

It only remains for An Qiu to start speaking in a high-pitched voice to end up being another obe the pile of ruined and wasted female characters in order to make the male lead look good 🤷‍♀️

Yes, it lacks realism and depth. I made it to episode five and won't go any further. Pretty aesthetics though.

Why is it that the productions that are undervalued in terms of ratings are the ones with good production and plot? Ripe Town, for example. If it wasn't for me reviewing Douban now, I would have never known of its existence due to only talking about idol dramas mostly. Here at kisskh we give high ratings to series that are predictable and with plot holes lol.

I agree. I generally use Douban when selecting productions from China.
