for mystery and action, i suggest moving (you'll love it), the glory, my name, study group, stranger from hell. for romance and slice of life- run on, summer strike, crash course in romance, when i fly towards you (it's a cdrama but perfect for such times) and ither dramas mentioned by the users before me. i have tried to mention only those where the main focus is happiness and fun.

i agree with you on everything except the eng+tagalog thing. that's literally how they speak in their country 😭 they were colonized by spain & the usa, hence eng is pretty common in their country. the same is in india; we speak a mix of hindi and english on an everyday basis. you should do a little research before commenting about some country's origin or whatever, you look dumb asf.
