that's exactly what im wondering because the FL looks like she's freshly in her 20s, but the ML looks like he's…
tbh he looks older because he is 37 in real life. i think they have 9 year age gap irl. but tbh even if the script does end up being cringe, i trust the actors on this one because they are experienced compared to other Viva actors

Tbh I'm already expecting a bunch of cringefest scriptwise because this was written during ~that~ era of Wattpad. But it seems like a cringy script can be saved by good acting skills. I find other Viva adaptations to be too cringe for my liking and the acting couldn't save most (except GSOT and PL). This one I do have trust because the actors are experienced. Very scared for the side characters though 😬

I'm not a book reader, but from what I got from the original book readers is that Aemie is 19 and is a 3rd year College/University student. Some universities in the Philippines do have uniforms. Zeke's age was not stated in the book, although it is implied that he is under 25 (because the arrangement was for him to get married before 25 or he loses everything)

Also keep in mind, this was written a million years ago (expect it to be cringe). When this was being written, Philippines didn't adapt the K-12 education system yet. Most high school students that time graduate at 15-16 and enter college at 16-17. Implementation of the K-12 program led to additional 2 years of high school so now most students graduate at 17-18, and enter college/university at 18-19. So I would expect Aemie's age to be adjusted to 21 (like most 3rd year college students are) or they adjust her to being first year college which would still make her 19. Personally, I think the first option is better.

Also, I think she just acts childish and airheaded for a plot reason that will be revealed later on.

There is romance between the leads (Ace and Zein). There are other couples as well.

I was talking about no romance in Project Loki, another Viva series.

Do love teams have to actually make fans believe they are an item?
Unfortunately, yes. It's what helps actors and actresses set their career for stardom. They usually don't directly say they are dating. But they would answer interview questions vaguely, "netizens" (usually PR) would catch them doing things privately, etc. It's what makes fans delusional and make them support and buy anything related to the loveteam.

Wow if this wasn't censored, this could've been on par with other Asian LGBTQ+ dramas like "Gaya sa Pelikula". I've read the novel and it comforted me a lot as someone struggling, I'm sure it's the same with others. I love Jiang Cheng and Gu Fei so much? It's sad but I really think the actors will do a good job.

Title Love Is Sweet Spoiler
Started this last September because of boredom. Very good chemistry between the leads, didn't like the second couple much. I really liked Du Lei, but saw in the comments that he became horrible later on. I wanna see Qiao Na more too. Am I the only one who hates Jiang Jun's fashion and style?

So far, the crew behind it are actually great. They all come from very successful/good productions so as long…
I'm more concerned with the script and acting tbh, as those things matter more than the rest in the production. For the script, I'm not bothered by removal of some HuaLian scenes as there are not that much but for the elements the novel has such as ghosts, genderfluid characters, etc. Also I don't like iQiyi... so there's that haha : ) They have to hire BOTH good, competent AND pretty ones tbh : / or else, fans will be dissatisfied and may boycott. Especially Hua Cheng, standards are high.

Can I ask why you are concerned about TGCF?
I don't like iQiyi for a number of reasons, also don't like how they produce their dramas.. atleast this one is under Tencent
On Eternal Faith Jan 11, 2021
So filming will begin in June 2021. I don't have high hopes for this but I just wish it won't be that bad. I also prefer new (& young) faces rather than popular actors.

I hope Arthur Chen delivers well because Mo Ran has one of the best character developments, I really cherish his character. Like, one of my favorite MCs. I think most of the 2ha fandom is aware that this is a loose adaptation after all. I don't really mind the lack of RanWan scenes, I guess (and hope) Tencent knows what to do. I'm more concerned with HOB/TGCF being under iQiyi.
