Thats not it… the main problem that most feel is the lack of chemistry between the leads, their romance story…
I dont get why you say there is not enough romance... 2 kisses, when in many dramas you are lucky of you get 1... They literally said in more than one ocasion to each other their feelings with really honest confessions. And I dont know you, but in real life it doesn't take that much to fall in love, and to love deeply in dead life situations it¡s even easier. Having all the problems making love more intense is one of the classics during hard times like war. For me their chemistry is not about sexual attraction but more of a breath of fresh air in the middle of the storm, cute pure and warm.
There are just some aspects that I think that are missing; More female representation on important roles, a 2nd female lead o some rival... Not that I like demons, but theres only 1, there is a lack on the lore in this case... The fact that all the revenge stuff is making the protagonist do just he same as the demon would to destroy the royal family doesn't go well with his moral/values (how can he still believe he is the good guy?or even the audience? moseso when the prince is SUCH A FINE MAAAAN!)
I still like the show, and I hope the two last episodes are good enough....
I know why this one is getting so many negative opinions... For me too it's very far from what I spected (the classic possesed dark ML with super powers and cold heart that is melted by young pure hearted FL, lots of secrets, tension, plot twists and special effects) Like Nine Tailed... BUT NOT BEING PREDICTIVE IS SHUCH A BLISSS! OMG THE FLUFFINESS AND ARTISTIC BACKGOUNDS, BRILLIANT ACTING AND GORGEOUS OST! i'M HAVING SUCH A GOOD TIME WITH THIS ONE... A TOTAL GEM FOR ME!
