If you've seen dramas before...do NOT watch this

*sighs* Firstly...Kim Jojo is a mess.

This was my first ever Korean drama show and as a first time watcher, I did not know why it got so much hate. But now that I've seen more dramas, I understand why. Sooo many plot holes that left me wondering "wait, what happened?". An example is the falling out of Kim Jojo and her friend, like WHERE IS THE FRIEND I WANNA SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FRIEND!!!!!

The love interests: wth?

Like Sun Oh is a creep if I am being fr. He does not act like a friend AT ALL and is sooo self absorbed like if Jojo does not want you then LAY THE F OFF. There are other fish in the sea brother. I feel like he was not even in love with Jojo but rather just playing with his friends feelings. If you are a fan of Song Kang DO NOT WATCH THIS. It is not worth it and he is in such better shows.

Please save Lee Hye-yeong. You deserve so much better that Sun Oh AND Kim Jojo. He was the only character I could tolerate. Just kinda basic and wish I could have learned more about him. Sweet character, but really confused about some of his backstory to really call him a "favorite character".

Kim Jojo needs help. She is so dumb and makes stupid decisions but does not do anything to fix it. Like girl just make up your freaking mind about who you have feelings for. Stop being difficult. There are so many times in the show when I would just yell at her to stop being stupid.

Also, the cousin is a bitch.

Music is not that special. I only really like "Falling Again" but that is it.

Final thoughts:

Do not watch this if you have seen many dramas, it is not worth the watch. If you have not seen any dramas...then maybe?? If complicated romance is your thing, then give it a try. But I would personally recommend 'True Beauty' for first watchers. No hate for any of the actors, they are just in better shows and movies. This show rang so many alarm bells in my head.

Thanks for reading!

Here me out...demon hubby.

Do Do-Hee is a queen

I absolutely adored this show! Every ending of each episode had me wanting to watch more and more…until I finished the show. I am actually so sad that the series is finished just because I loved it so much. The scenery? Beautiful. The music? Perfect. The characters? I thought that the characters all had a key purpose in the show, meaning I enjoyed how they were and how they ended up.

And OH MY LORD THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE LEADS. They had more chemistry than the periodic table. Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung did an amazing job of showing the love and devotion that grows between the 2 main characters. I loved the slow burn at the beginning and all the cute moments they had as a married couple. THE TANGO SCENE WAS MY FAVORITE SCENE!!!! I'm a sucker for choreographed scenes and agh I just love it so much. I loved that they also had shared lives in the past.

Like I said above, Do Do-Hee is queen. I was never annoyed with her throughout the series. I just loved that she was a strong, confident, independent woman and an amazing and caring wifey at the end. Like girl has a caring husband AND a successful business? She ate frfr.

Jeong Gu-Won by far made me laugh the most. Like his mannerisms and silly scenes actually made me laugh out loud. I loved his little minions he obtained half-way through the show too. His character development was good. He started out as your average rude and self absorbed male character, and while he still had some of those tendencies at the end, he ended up caring about the people around him and definitely softened up.

Now I am going to talk about some of my favorite side characters! I loved the butlers for the leads, they are just so silly! Their romance was also cute to watch as time went on. The mafia group was also hilarious. How they ended up in the end with the restaurant and their boss was just pleasing to see. The co-workers at Do-Hees office definitely added to the humor, but I was never really annoyed with them.

The villain was your average crazy rich abuser father. Nothing too special but definitely hella scary at times. #savehisfamilyplease

Music was perfect.

One thing I mildly disliked was the ending/last episode. I expected more to happen with the episode being an hour, but it was a good way to end the show.

I sobbed the entirety of episode 15.

Final thoughts:
I love love LOVE this show! Every actor did an amazing job portraying the characters perfectly. Definitely my favorite drama so far. I wish I could go back and rewatch it for the first time because it was just that magical to me. If you like a slice of life with a twist, this show is for you. I could go on and on about this show but this review would go one forever. This is the show I would recommend to my friends. PLEASE WATCH THIS! Live laugh love My Demon.
